Jake, I cant follow the problem, but I just want to point out that taking one of our servers off line for a period of time shouldnt be a big issue. Some of our servers are empty very often, such as Kalt and of course, the event server is used sparingly as well. If the end result is a better server that more people will play on, I think it is worth a shot.

My inner app admin is showing. Just wanted to voice an opinion but after reading the state of the union it does say we still have that event server to play on so... Use it while we can I guess.

Are we getting enough complaints to justify changing anything? Is it worth fixing a small bug by taking down a server for testing or anything of that matter if it affects the public.

Edit: If it does fix it, I am going to miss the raging I have when the kill cam of my opponent shows an obvious headshot wound.

This^^^ only happens on eGO servers. The players who complained left at least a year ago to play on 70ID, 6th MRB, Snow Bridge, and 1st RB. I know that many of those players would come back because most of the other servers have super anying server.cfg files. For example, on the realism servers they have a different gravity setting which makes you slide around the map like crazy. This is extremely annoying if you use the rifle.

R Rufio I hated going back to DOD 1.3 and gliding around on the floor, I can feel it too, it feels so different. I didn't notice it on 6th RB though. I don't know if the hitreg is any better on other servers though, I actually do far worse on other servers than I do on ours, but maybe better pubbers play on them, maybe I just don't play enough to compare. But I definitely did not like shooting that MG with the STG from underneath and those several bullet holes showing up in the screenshot, resulting in zero damage. That was enraging ahahhaha. I've been testing it the past few days, I will sneak up on someone and instead of shoveling them, I take out my pistol and literally put it in the back of their head and it hardly ever does damage on the first one.
