Tech Help Looking to Upgrade

So, two questions. One, I'm excited for the AMD Zen CPUs to release, but is it going to be worth paying the price and upgrading from what I have? Also, how good is my current graphics card compared to others that are out on the market? I took a look at the RX 480, and it looks like the performance is very comparable to my card, at a lot cheaper cost.

Specs:
AMD FX-8350 (OC @ 4.4ghz)
8gb DDR3 RAM
Sapphire R9 390
120gb SSD with a 1TB HDD

CPU wise it would be a decent step up from what you have getting Zen. You would also need to grab a new MB along with some DDR4 ram too. (But I would wait on some independent reviews before buying)
In the grand scheme of things your CPU is kinda meh but you won't really notice it much outside of minimum FPS. (AKA when a game chugs you will notice it/It's more obvious)

GPU wise you are fine. Getting a 480 (8gig) would be a side grade to just a 1-3% better then what you have. You would have to at least move up to a 1070 to see any real difference in FPS.

All in all Zen is supposed to launch the 28th this month so wait for some reviews and pricing to make a choice. Hoping my self for AMD to launch something decent because of the lackluster of the Bulldozer and Piledriver compared to what Intel was offering. Would love to move up to a 6 or 8 core with reasonable pricing and performance

Thanks for the reply! I need to pick up some more RAM, but I figure why buy more if I might end up replacing it soon anyways with DDR4... I'm excited to see what's going to come out of reviews from the Zen lineup.

With the GPU, I started looking at 1070's and possibly 1080's, but I think that's out of range if I wanna grab a Zen. The thing I notice is on a lot of games, like GTA V, I'll run HWMonitor, and it says my GPU is at 100% usage, while my CPU sits around 60% on all cores. Is that meaning that my GPU is bottlenecking? I know I can OC it a bit, right now I believe it's running at around 1010mhz core clock speed. I've bumped up the memory and clock speed in the past, but I've had it stock recently.
