Battlefield 1 New patch released today (2/14/17)

As of 8:00am CST today, my game is downloading the new update for BF1 -- it likely was available sooner than the time I opened my Origin though. Just wanted to let anyone who missed the news know.

Well the horse is still messed up, dudes still killing from a mile away with the sword. and now instead of gas taking 20 seconds to kill you it only takes 15. All in all the patch satisfied those that were capped, as now all ranks go to 50(yea twirling finger in the air) Now if you go to youtube all the fanboys are saying it is a HUGE patch, it was 1.67 GB and really didnt fix crap, again check youtube to find EA breaking their own rules with bans that are unjustified, meanwhile players now have scripts that get them the vehicles first,but, that EA leaves alone. This is what happens when you take a great PC game and adjust it to console players, even giving it a console look and feel, it's just sickening.
Right about now my opinion of BF, EA/Dice is so low when I get surveyed on Origin I write and tell them how low it is because there is not choice low enough on the survey. It seems to me that they either refuse to listen or do not care about the real issue's, they sure in the hell do not listen if they ban you, why would they when you complain?

I am so with you on this as well, i won't even get into my experience i had just playing 1 hour the other night. Very disappointed atm as a whole. The hacking is unreal, the amount of racial language being spammed nonstop is unreal, no real teamwork at all, 99% of the time you can't even get into planes or tanks etc, via what you said, team stacking is nuts, literally every match was all 100's on one side with a few low lvls and our side all low levels and new ppl Lol, but as you stated as well, EA is breaking so many of their own rules I just want to do away with them nonstop. For me it's like playing COD x10000000 but worse. This is just a few issues.. Def. going back to bf4 and staying there.

Reading your opinions about BF1 I start to rethink my position... maybe EA is changing their behavior about their games and started to abandon then after few time just to release another game and win money with new sells (like they did with BF3 and BF4).

I hope they launch Bad Company 3 in 2018 (like rumors around web) and they invest more time on it.

I pretty much gave up on BF1 on the last patch that nerfed the shotguns snipers and gave all the power to autos. BF4 still working good for me.

I like BF1, just wish they would fix the stuff the majority of the players ask them to. Not the fan boys, the real players. But I guess it comes with the territory, and it is what it is.

I cant agree with Beemer's post enough. From every regard. The only way you are going to get a vehicle is with some sort of script, the racism and bigotry in chat is unbelievable, and there are people flying around (in the air as infantry) with level 100 ranks shooting planes down with an automatico.... obviously not getting banned, whereas those people dedicated to the game are getting banned because their stats are unusual.

Looks like Dice dropped the ball with this release. Although its truly a beautiful game to see, they ruined it because they failed to adhere to and balance it in the typical rock/paper/scissors model they have in the past.

So sad, but I doubt the game will have the longevity that BF4 had.

Longevity is a tough call, with the added ranks to 50, and all my weapons I have a lot to work on, plus I need to find were I run best as far as class and weapons....one thing we need is new maps and like 10 of them, not really worried about new weapons yet. I for one will be happy to have our own server and ADMIN for the punks. I will say this, with the sounds and all this BF has a accomplishment feel to it, that I do not think I have felt since BF2. Team work is lacking because of lack of communication between pubbers, because they do not utilize the commo rose or the voip, thank eGO for having and letting us all USE TS.
