Our goal is to obviously grow our Counter-Strike Global Offensive presence. We all want more servers to play on that offer a handful of different options and game modes. I'd love to deliver that. One of the problems we face is the inconsistency of our current server lineup. We kicked ass to get Jail back on track after a disappointing slump. However, we are starting to slip back into an uncomfortable position of server activity.
These images are the current state of our Jail server. We have dropped over a thousand ranks and the server popularity has dropped significantly. We need to get back into the groove and return to where we belong. How can we do this? It takes initiative. It takes leaders. Often times, normal members and admins rely on our Leadership team to jump start our efforts in server filling or recruiting. While both my team and I love filling servers, we can't be the only ones starting the efforts each day. We need your help to take the initiative and jump start these servers.
How can you help?
Filling.
The server needs to be continually populated with members and pubs. If you notice that one of our servers is empty, you totally shouldn't ignore it and assume someone else will fill it. If you want us to keep that server and you want us to pick up more servers, jump in there and fill it up. Message your friends on Steam and get them to join and play with you. Hop in TeamSpeak and gather a group to come into the server with you.

Seeding servers is another method of populating a server while not actually playing. By sitting in spectator, you are essentially adding another player to the player count. Boosting the player count draws pubs who want to play in a full server. Seeding could be a negative thing if you have a full server of spectators and no one playing. A good balance of both is always good. You'll notice I wear an tag in my name recently. It stands for eeding, and afking the server. For those of you who think I ignore you on Steam because I am ingame but never answer... now you know 
Recruit
The pubs who join our servers every day should join us here on the forums and in TeamSpeak. Why did you join EGO? What do you enjoy about EGO? Consider passing those values over to someone else and share the experience you currently have. If you know someone who should be a member of our community, offer to help them join.
Play
The easiest thing to do. If you love the server, jump on and have fun. Build a relationship with the people who play on that server. Have fun & make friends. Having a good community relationship on the server is something that will bring pubs back to the server to play again.
I have one Steam gift card left that I am willing to give away to a true CS division MVP. A person who wants to step up and kick-ass helping fill our servers will get it. I'll consult the Leadership team with their thoughts on who they notice is busting their butt for the growth of our game. Next weekend we will choose an MVP.
