2/21 - Deathrun - 7:00 to 8:00 PM

2/23 - Hunger Games - 7:00 to 8:00 PM

2/25 - Euro Hour - 5:30 to 6:30 PM​




Please Note the Following: Only Members of eGO aka people with =(e)=, =(eG)=, or =(eGO)= tags are allowed in the event server.

What server is this on? I know we have more servers on source but I only know of TTT and Jail on csgo.

We believe that events are a reward to this community and only our members should have access. Anyone interested enough to join us in an event should have the dedication to become a member of eGO.

I have to disagree there, I don't know who decided it but that is in my opinion a terrible idea. I know pubs who for whatever reason can not join eGO enjoy the events, and if you think about it, you can recruit those pubs that stumble in to the server while they are seeing the greatness of the events. I also don't see how being exclusive would add to the fun aspect of the event

Honestly, while i dont prefer it, this is how we had it for a long time back in source. There were very few players in the first place that werent members but still show up to our events prior to this change. If they want to be able to participate in them, then they can join eGO and be able to do so that way. But from what ive seen, pubs that do come in (that arent the outliers of regulars) have only caused issues in the events and disrupted it. I can understand why its changed, and honestly will affect very few people.

as I said, some pubs can't. I know that was the way in source, but I believe that was because the events back in the days filled the server. As for disruptive pubs during events, I have only had to ban 2 over those 7 - 8 months i did events every week. Missing out on great pubs is a bad idea in general

Im not trying to defend it in any way, just that i understand where they are coming from. Back in the day, we never had full event servers (except for major events like Royal Rumble where we had several leadership involved). But from the perspective ive seen, especially now in CSGO where the player-base is much more toxic than it was in source, i can see why the decision was made in not having to deal with the troubles and situations that arise from having pubs join. Recruiting should be coming from ttt/jail in the first place, and events should be one of many incentives to have them join. I get that it hampers some potential new recruits, as well as regulars that havent joined, but events were specifically created in the first place to have fun and join together as a community for some gaming, and i respect the fact that they want to continue that idea for members only.
