Battlefield 1 BF1 Server?

I'm betting this has been addressed before, but I can't find the relevant thread. Does EGO have any plans to set-up/rent a server for BF1?

If i remember correctly, before my leave we had a server and all you had to do was filter the term eGO in the search bar and our server should have popped up. Whether or not we still have it I am unsure as i have only just returned. Once the winter update comes out and we have access to admin tools then im sure our server will be as popular as our BF4 servers were back in the day.

If someone could confirm if we still have a server or not that would be great, but last i remember we did

We had a couple of servers but with the need of 30 people just to get it started killed them, we are in a recon it out and go from there situation as they do not release enough intel to let us prepare.

Reading some critics and reviews about BF1 and with rumors about Bad Company 3 I have a little impression that EA will abandon BF3 and BF4 soon and BF1 will enter in collision route with EA desires.

I'm starting to think if really is a good idea buy BF1 (for me specially since I need to upgrade my PC before try anything).

Invest in discontinued game isn't good for anyone. (I don't forget about BFHeroes)

BF1 isn't even a year old yet, and with new content coming out in about a week, I doubt it's on a collision course with EA.

EA/Dice have already said there will not be a new Battlefield game for 2 years so you can go with that as well
