Team Speak Issues

I just downloaded team speak so I could join the event server as well as be a little more involved with eGO and meet more members. But I am having an issue between it and my CS:GO. When I open team speak the sounds goes through my head phones but it makes my CS go through my cpu speakers. If I go into my settings and change it so that one doesn't override the other I no longer hear team speak. Can someone help me? I've googled the issue and I can't find anything that helps.

I'm assuming by this you mean you've tried changing the device selected as 'Playback Device' in TeamSpeak Settings/Options->Playback (and/or the same with the sound settings in CSGO, or in the system sound settings?)

If so -

What Sound/Audio card do you have?

What Operating System are you running?

What headset are you using/trying to use?

Also, does the headset have a built-in sound chip? (For example, a number of headsets, such as one I've previously used, that have a USB connection may have this)

No I ment that I had played around with device taking exclusive control through the control panel. When I would uncheck it would mute team speak but put sound from CS back in my head phones.

Sound/audio card - I have no clue
Operating system - windows 10
Head set is a turtle beach head set that plugs into the headphone jack. (Originally a PS4 head set.)

Hm, thought I posted this last night, but try what I mentioned about checking the playback/sound settings:

try changing the device selected as 'Playback Device' in TeamSpeak Settings/Options->Playback (and/or the same with the sound settings in CSGO, and possibly in the system sound settings?)

Found it in team speak. I will try this out shortly and I am going to look into CS:GO as well. Thank you and I hope it works!


.:EDIT:. This didn't work. And I even when and tried checking and and unchecking exclusive control again as well.

Just realized something with this - does it mute TeamSpeak, as in the 'Mute Speakers/Headphones' button is enabled when you look at the TS client and you can't see the blue icon on anyone light up when they speak, or does it just lower the volume of it?

A couple other possible solutions:

- Go to Control Panel -> Hardware and Sound -> Sound -> Communication Tab -> select "Do nothing" and click OK/Apply

^-(Another navigation method to this is instead of going to CP->Hardware/Sound, right-click the sound icon on the taskbar and click Sound, and then go to the Communication Tab)

- Run TeamSpeak as Administrator (and possibly try this with Steam and/or CSGO as well)

- If you have more then one showing up, Double check that the sound-setting you are 'Disabling exclusive control' on in Control Panel is the one being used

Tried all of that and still didn't work lol. I am at a complete lose right now. Absolutely no clue as to what it could be. I've never had this issue before with any computer or running multiple programs and sound be routed different then the others.
