Has a game ever changed your beliefs or values?

If you have an idea for a poll, please submit poll suggestions in the "Front Page Poll Questions" thread.

I have been touched by some games (like when Dom died in GOW), but a game has not changed my beliefs or values.

I've been touched by some games as well, like Life is Strange, but I've never had one change my beliefs or values either. Books though, most definitely.

When Cortana "died" in Halo 4.
But yea no game has really make me change my values. TV shows/anime definitely.

Naomi's goodbye video to Hal in Metal Gear Solid 4 was a huge tear jerker. But otherwise, no, they have not changed me like that.

This is a very interesting poll, For the last two years I had only played BF4 on the EGO servers exclusively, so I wasn't exposed to all the racism, bigotry, and hate speech that has been rampant in online gaming. Since I started playing BF1 I really realized there is a MASSIVE amount of hatred in society today, more than I had ever seen at any previous point in my life. BF1 has kinda opened my eyes that people seem to be genuinely racist and anti-semitic to their core. Very scary so see so raw.

I mean yeah I've played games where I was like...dude I would so love to just run people over for no reason what so ever (GTA) but no game has really change my beliefs...lol.
