Epic TF2 moments...

So I see people talking about some bad times in gaming, but few times we hear about the epic ones. So, I'll share 2 of my favorites and look forward to hearing some of yours.

Super Spy!
So, a friend and me are playing dustbowl. First area, second cap point. We are blue. We are hulled up in the top left tunnel way beside the gate working up his uber. He is a medic, I am of course a spy. We kept trying to get a soldier or demo to help him work up uber but all insisted on rushing through the gate to there death. So I agree to stay with him to work it up and so we finally do and I announce we have an uber for whoever wants it. He comes over me and states,"No! We're doing this! They didn't want to help so we will show them how its done." AND here we go. I rush out we make it to the bottom of the steps and he hits the uber. I have the knife out and go to hacking. I get 9 backstabs!! 9!!! from jumping around and swinging. We then cap the point with him getting in the last kill with the bonesaw. It was EPIC.

One Man Demolition Team
So this one is pretty short and really sweet. I was playing in a 24 man server on Gravelpit on red team. I go to B point and demo jump up to put stickies around the door. I am at that point the only demo on the team with 12 blue v 11 red. The setup time ends and the doors open a heavy steps out and blow the charges. The right side of my screen lights up with kills! I step to look in the door and there stands a lone engi who I bounce nade twice and blow him up. I tab to see how many I missed. My count quickly ended at 0. I had single handedly taken out the ENTIRE blue team. It was pretty sweet. !lol

Well....actually I do. They are not as profound though. Then again, you could be exaggerating (jk I'm sure you were giving an accurate account)

Dustbowl first stage cap point 2. 4 medics with Ubers. We all rush the point Ubering eachother. We charge the point and cap it. Who said that medic is just a support class?

 

[Kleptor]

I'm not that good so my moment isn't that impressive, but i circle strafed a heavy that knew i was there as a medic and bonesawed him to death. I also bonesawed four ppl in a group incl a heavy, a medic and an engineer and made it out alive.

Punched out a pyro and his medic, then made it to a med-kit on fire with exactly 3 hp left.

Punched out a engie, then circle-strafed his sentry gun, and punched that out.

Punched a soldier who was in mid-air on Convy, and knocked him off the train.

A uber heavy ran into my base on Sunsettown, and I hopped onto his head and rode on top of him till the uber ran off, where I then promptly punched him out.

Yea punching is cool. And I promise those accounts I stated are accurate. However, some times have ended in epic failure. That demo incident ended shortly afterwards when like a noob I got backstabbed by a spy. A really cool time I failed was when I tried to protect B point on gravelpit and got crit punched right out the window and somehow over the fence although I lost that battle it was pretty sweet.

I had my best medic run ever just the other day (and I doubt I'll ever do it again =) Defending Dustbowl, map 3 second point. I had an 18 minute run as a Medic with 19,901 points healed, 28 assists, 12 ubers, and 59 points. The reason this worked, I believe, was no spies were attacking and there were 3 demos and 1 engie, that set up forward and stayed up forward allowing me to hide and heal and then to do an uber run around the corner, up the stairs and then could easily jump back down to safety just as uber finished.

ps- To counter this, I can count the many, many times I'm about to uber when a spy stabs me in the back, or a random crit rocket hits nearby. But the above was very sweet.

I think as a sniper, anyone is able to enter "DA ZONE" not the zone, "DA ZONE". It happens to me once in a while when I get my sniper out in the ennemy's line of sight then kill 4-5 people before someone understands it's time to give me attention. At THAT moment, my team runs in and they die cause they were paying attention at me ^_^

I think it was Dustbowl. I was something like 9 BLU vs 9 Red. I was playing red spy, backstabbed the entire team myself. Luckely no one were playing as scout or pyro at that moment.

I was a pyro on convoy a few nights ago. i was by myself on the enemy's intell roof. Enemies kept coming up after me and i would kill them, hop down, grab health, kill the guys coming to get me again, back up to the roof. I got a 22 kill streak with absolutely noo one helping, and that tops my previous "best kills."

I was playing spy, as usual, and was heading to the enemy Intel room. We had a medic/heavy about to Uber so I wanted to head in the opposite door and sap to help out. When this happens I also like to grab the Intel and run since no one's paying attention to anything but the Uber going down.

So, I'm disguised as a Pyro. The Uber goes off and I run in the other door. The first thing I see is an enemy medic, he turns to me and suddenly...I'M UBERED!! Ohh yeah, he thought he had a Pyro to do the counter Uber with. I whipped out my knife and went to town. By the time we were done with that room it was empty. The heavy mowqed down my medic buddy and I took the Intel and ran.

I would imagine that medic caught a lot of grief but we couldn't stop laughing.

 

[The Drifter]

This happend quite a while ago for me. It was the 1st set of points on Dustbowl and i had decided to run as a Heavy. As im running down to Blu teams ramp, i get a Medic tag along. Now i know i wont be able to hold off the entire Blu team for long, since the Heavy's AC burns up ammo very fast, so i know that i'll have to run to the shack to my left to grab full ammo.

When the gate pulls up, my medic bud throws down an Uber, and i just unleash hell upon Blu. gaining 14 kills, dealing 5445 damage, and holding the entire Blu team back for 4 minutes and THIRTY seconds, when i finally get killed after repeating ubers,and running back and forth to grab max ammo.

Boy...did i feel great slaughtering them, hahah

Dustbowl, Engineer, 34 kills, 42 points, didnt die once, enemy capped no points, conducted solely by me. What more need I say?

Spy on the defence at dustbowl disguised as soldier and medic uber-charged me, he stayed on me the whole time, I circle around him and backstab him I was laughing so hard but then I started to feel sorry for the poor guy...

The night of the latest Royale Rumble, I was owning. I got 13 kills in row without dying on soldier with the help of several medics. I forgot how many crit rockets I unleashed at the enemy, but it was a fun night.

its not all that hard to do, especially as a sniper... its really basic. run off 4-5 kills to where your name is the only one that shows up in the top right as having kills. Bonus points if they are headshots!

wahoo, this afternoon when i got home from school and started playing some convoy, i was a spy, i disguised myself as a soldier and got behind enemy lines and then we secured the enemy Intel, so like everyone on the other team jsut like stopped what they were doing and i stabbed em all in the back, got like 8 or 10 kills in that run. ^_^

 

[The Big Herm]

This is my best moment in TF2. As a soldier in the 2fort server, I scored 42 points on a single life. Then the next life I scored 41 more. I believe my KD ratio was something like 44:1 when it was all said and done. I've not had a day like that since.

 

[The Drifter]

The days were you can't believe you had just done that are purely epic in scale. either its defending the Intel by your lonesome, or raining death upon the heads of your victims, you will always think back and chuckle light heartedly at how you turned into the God Of War himself.

But..so far the one with the most death delivered is Big Herm..you got any numbers for how much damage you dealt Herm?

epic moment as a soldier in Convoy today. =D there were about 3 engis and some other guys too in the intel room and i just kept firing rocket after rocket in there and dipping and i got all of them including the sentrys and dispensors

Gonna kick this back up with another epic moment. I was playing sniper today in goldrush on red team. We were doing really good and they hadn't made it to the first checkpoint yet. But with about 30ish seconds left they make a big push and get 7 guys on the cart. I am 1 of only a few guys left alive and I tell myself to just stall till help gets there so we can keep them from reaching it in time. I run around the hall toward the cart and a soilder shoots at my feet with a rocket I see it coming and jump. I get launched in behind the cart and for some reason I guess they thought i was dead. I turn and run them whipping out the kukuri and go to hacking. I KILL EVERYONE!! I killed 7 guys on the cart with my knife and save the cap.
