We all love EdgeGamers, but why did we join and why do we stick around? It's a question that only you, the members of eGO, can answer. So let me ask you, what is your eGO Story?

• Why did you join eGO? Tell us if you have a great recruitment story. Who recruited you? On what server? etc.

I started playing the surf server back just before PG and EGO merged, and i just fell in love with the community. I played for a little while before i joined the forums, but once i did i never looked back. @heidi (back when she was cherry) was probably one of the first people who i really recognized early on in the servers, but i have to credit @Savana for telling me about the forums and helping me understand them way back in the old days. Every night i get on the TS or the server is a new favorite memory, i can't pick just one. Love you all keep on rockin' EGO!

This is my story on how I found this awesome community

I originally found the jail break server in the summer of 2016 when it was pG I had some of the best cs memories on the server I was active up until a month or so after the switch from pG to eGO I was inactive for a while I’d say a little over a year mostly because I had school and didn’t find cs all that interested at the time I then joined the Airforce and after around 6 months of training (basic and my tech school) I got assigned to my first duty location on of the first few things I did was buy my own pc and started playing cs again and rejoined the server around the end of February and have been here ever since

my favorite memories here at eGO is giving back to the community I am beyond thankful for everything you amazing people have done for me giving me something to do weather I’m bored or in a bad mood I always had a server I could spend hours in and just get a quick break from reality that’s why I do my giveaways because you guys are the best the servers are where I go if I’m having a bad day and I’ve made some great friends from it <3

my eGO pride are you guys, you guys are the reason I stay I’m a very thankful person for every single one guys and girls some people I’d like to thank also are @P250 Sand Dune @Nibs splash$ @WaSe @Jacko DeerFat @joof @nitrospam (first to come to my head) and many others!

This is my story on how I found this awesome community

Why did you join eGO?
Nearly 5 years ago I was playing on our CS JB servers and I guess I just decided to join, I don't have much memory of those days sadly.


Favorite eGO memories
With so many fantastic memories it's hard to pick one.
Hosting my first event as a CS EC last year was a big one.
Hitting Baltop 1 after months of working my butt off on our Minecraft server.
The final mafia shootout with @aidan Inkery and a few others at 3 am.
The creation of the EGO Overwatch discord with @Wish
Watching @Wish getting Leadership then Sr. Manager.

eGO Pride
Why stay? Why do I stay in the community? Well.... why would I leave. From the servers to the community this is by far the best community I've been part of.
Leadership teams do so well to keep the servers going great, the friends I've made along the way, and the memories I haven't made yet. 2019 was my year coming back, 2020 was when I became an admin and worked my ass off for EC/RC/AT. Who knows what 2021 has in store for me and all the friends I've made along the way.
From messing around on TTT at 4 am with @Wr3k in 2019 to learning to roleplay throughout 2020 on the FiveM server I wouldn't trade the time I've spent with EGO for anything in the world.

Why did you join eGO? Like a lot of people from cs i wasn't really recruited i found out about jb around 4 years ago from DeSinc who some of you might know he made a lot of popular jb montages and such. I thought that was really cool the next day i hopped on Csgo, searched Jb and look at that it happens to be i found the best jb server first . When i first played i was god awful i couldn't even crouch jump, im still not the best at kz or anything. I learned quickly my favorite part of the server was how fun it was now i never talk but i do type in chat a lot(which i think i reflect on the forums lol) but people still notice me and thats enough to love eGO.
(Edit: when reading this back I noticed I didn’t start playing jb 4 years ago on ego, I was playing some other jb server that has died now, also I took a break for like 3 years from cs before ego

Favorite eGO memories Kind of cringey but the day of Christmas eve, there was a lot of new players on and some people that play commonly like crazy apple, Erick, and i think hermi. There were 0 kz members on so rebelling was few no try hard rebel every round just chill players. We were on pyreness for most of the time because of Christmas eve it had the Christmas tree game which because of some people we only got to give our fake gifts to each other once( at the time i was dubbed @Crazy Apple 's child for the day ). Sadly this was faded when it turned 12 pm exactly when the rebel every round players got on. It was very fun .

eGO Pride I love the community jokes about badmins they just never get old. But most importantly i love trash talking TTT mains whenever i can( jb>TTT).

Turns out I do not have a story of my own.

Why did you join eGO?
I was recruited by icecold960 who no longer plays on the servers, I was just playing some TTT and wanted to get that =(e)= tag in-game because I thought it looked cool, I never knew that I would become an admin but that was a great moment for me!

Favorite eGO memories
My most favorite moment for me was becoming an event coordinator, I love helping eGO in hosting great events or even silly ones, but its great to see people having a fun time at an event!

eGO Pride
I choose to game here because this is really the only place I actually enjoy gaming at, mostly hoping on TS to talk with people.

so the first time I ever joined one of the servers was on cs back in april with my friends; not sure if this was before or after the merge because I wasn’t a regular member; so it was a course map and we played about 2 of them and then I had to go but it was fun but i later forgot about it. then in August I was getting bored of comp and decided to find a community server and I went into my history and found mg and joined. I was on for a little and everyday I kept going back and it got more enjoyable and interesting. i met new people and made so many friends and now its basically where i spend all my time when I’m playing cs.
favorite memory - honestly I don’t have just one. almost all the moment on the servers are memorable
eGO Pride - I’ve made so many good friends and I’m so thankful for that

• Why did you join eGO? I joined eGO back in January of last year in the GTA division. One day I was in the car and my friend called my and texted me and he said, "Hey, Lets play FiveM". So, I went home and downloading FiveM and started playing ever since.
• Favorite eGO memories , etc.) One of my favorite memories were the old times back in early to mid 2020 when me and a couple of friends robbed a bank for the first time. We had no idea what we were doing but we went for it. We ended up getting caught by the police btw.
• eGO Pride - This is one of the communities that I found that I really enjoyed gaming at. All the people I've met made this a 10x better of a community than I thought it would be.

• Why did you join eGO? Early, EARLY on, the Founders were looking to recruit to keep things going. It wasn't a given in those days. I just had the dumb luck of signing onto the forums around the time a bunch of Kustom Kettle Admins were joining as part of an agreement (I believe). I knew a bunch of them and they apparently saw my name and put in a good word. John T. Himself recruited me AND made me an eGO on my first day! Whirlwind! Head spin!
• Favorite eGO memories: Early Forums and everyone learning the new system and figuring out boundaries. Shout Box!! Having to learn BB Code and using it in this post! Getting on TS and playing DoD with some legends. RIP Engineer and Blitz! And apologies to any who passed and I missed. Starting to add new games besides DoD. MAUL OMG MAUL! Houses, I miss houses! But totally understand why they had to go. Especially love it when Old Timers show back up on the forums! worst memories: Not being able to play in the House World Cup! Not even sure we called it the World Cup, but -=KK=-DOMINATED! Signing into the forums, getting like 33 as my member number, showing up three days later and they had to redo signups and getting like 375th!!
• eGO Pride: While the names have all (mostly) changed since I've hung around, the dream has remained

• Why did you join eGO? I was looking for a community of gamers in Rust that weren't toxic. I have had great interactions with the mods on the server and in the forums.
• Favorite eGO memories: There are so many great moments in Rust that can sometimes be overshadowed by obnoxious players. Having people assist with the toxic children has been my best memory.
• eGO Pride: New member but I am happy to try to help where I can.

Heyo I was in a Wahtur's server and he sent me an invite to edgegamers overwatch on discord. And i tried to join several times but it said i was banned when i had never joined. We figured it out and i join and i sent my application for the forums a few days later and due to business it wasn't accepted until a week later lol. Now i h=am here and play on ps4
