If anyone out there is looking for a laptop but does not want to break the bank, may I point them in the direction of the MSI GL62 15".
I bought a GL62 2015 model a few weeks back, i7 6700, GF GTX960M, 12 GB DDR4, 128GB SSD and 1 TB HDD, 15" full 1080 screen.
Paid around 1000 CAD.
After playing around, using geforce experience and then MSI afterburner to oc the video card I am getting AMAZING results in BF1 and Witcher 3.
On a system that was benchmarked to fail running BF1 at 1080 on high with decent FPS, I was able to bring the core clock up to +135 stable and I can run on high full 1080 and 100% field averaging 40-50 fps on most maps, some are even higher!
The Witcher runs on medium at 768p with an average of 60fps, seeing the witcher is such a GPU intense game, I CANNOT complain with these results!
Of course I am running an extra lappy cooling pad just to keep temps in check but so far I haven't broken 60 degrees!
