This may come as a shock, but I have never worn sandals. If I ever did, I'd have to wear socks with them. My feet are very sensitive.

I'll wear socks with my chacos maybe...a few times a year? It is a very cozy combination, but I'm not comfortable wearing them in public. I will wear them however, if I'm going through a drive thru or somewhere that doesn't actually involve anyone else seeing me wearing them
