Tech Help Blue Screen Issue

Now when i start up my pc before windows loads i wil get a blue screen, but with no blue screen when i had the 970 no issues now with 1080 i get the blue screen... even reinstalled windows does the same thing.

Have you re-installed the video drivers?
Ran a check disk? If so what did it report?
Even though the 1080 only needs about 20w more power than the 970 are you sure your power supply is large enough?
Id go straight to NVidias site to get the newest drivers rather than off the disc. There may be a bug they patched in a newer version or try a version behind the newest as the newest version may have a bug.

ill give it a few day's and try my 970 again i use ddo to unistall everything.

my psu is CX750M

If you do decide to re-install the drivers you might want to unplug your extra monitors if you have more than one during the driver installation. I was getting BSODs last year as well.

The file has disappeared when wiped the drivers of the 970, And put back the 1080 and reinstalled the driver as about few days no more blue screen. How is that possible i have no idea the magic of windows os

driver reinstall is probably what resolved it

as right now all is good. I Did have few blue screens reason trying OC so reverted back to normal. So gg im all good now.
