Did ego change servers in the last while?

My in-game ping has been around 130-140ms pretty consistently for the last year or more...usually I'd log on and the server ping was around 80, but lately it's been sitting in the 130-140 range so I end up playing with a ping of 170-190 now.

I'm using ethernet, not wireless.

Any ideas?

I have noticed a 20ms increase, but play seems the same.
gameme says the best yesterday was 48ms and 60ms so far today. That's higher than the lowest I've seen there which is 24ms(one.sniper.army).

Always love squading with you but why do you ride to death with me in the cavj?

Mostly it's a problem with spotting and laggy enemies. Drives me crazy when I can't spot a guy on the ground when I clearly should be able to.

LoL! Sorry man...I've got some good routes down but sometimes I miss the little jig or jag and end up suiciding...those little 3 branch bushes are a killer. Last night when I killed you by A we'd taken damage right down to 1%, so when we jumped the little ridge below the fan I knew it was going to blow up when it hit the road. I didn't realise you missed that. Sorry...I did detect the etherical sigh you must have done. I'll try to be more teamy when I have passengers from now on.

Also, I sometimes do the old Dances With Wolves run with the jeep to distract the enemy and add a little confusion to things...especially when the score is really lopsided.

Aaaand...I love taking flags. Most of my routes are straight to B.

If you gun, I won't be offended if you jump out when I appear to be extra stupid. ;) And don't be shy about giving direction...my plans are usually at about 11%.

The recent lag can be associated to recent issues with cloud servers in Amazon.com that make a mess in whole internet.

I read some articles about this recent problem affecting even network server that isnt associated to cloud services.

Dont worry about suicide rush, 90% of time we all do this in Heavy Metal.

Yes, lately my ping has been pushed to the "give up and go outside and play" level of around 240-300.
I try to spot but it mostly does not happen when my ping is that high.
I try with my land ethernet, I even tether from every phone in the house and nothing improves. So I know it isn't my internet connection.

For the past few years it would sit around 100-140, some games it would dip below 100, but lately it is forcing me to not play.
Not fun dying constantly from bad ping, and not bad play.
