Is anyone using our server? Are there issues with it?

Should we just close it?

BLUF: Close the server, for now. Maybe start one after official release.

BACKGROUND:

I got our server going one night to about 18 people. It would be nice if the new map, Foy was in the rotation.

I still have high hopes on the game. It appears the initial release of "early access" had lost the player base, and the game is basically dead. Even with the dev's listening to the players, making a lot of releases that did major changes that I think really improved the game.

Most of the time I get on now, if there is a US server with players, it might have 4-6 players. But mostly, it is just one European server has 15-20 players.

Are we missing maps?

If thats the case please let me know and I can get that up on it. I haven't played it in a while.

The new "Foy" map. It is the snow map released in the last big up date.

Its OK. Being a new map has its flaws. The devs are good at feed back to fix some of its issues.

I'm debating on getting it before the official release...us having a server is a factor. We need to find a way to encourage people like myself who are on the fence about it to take the dive.

Each day I try to get DOW up and it wont start, I have tried contacting the people concerned but have had no reply, so I might have to just wait for the official start. I am getting anxious as dod is is closed to being dead.

I had so much hope it seemed sluggish and the ability to see was hindered badly on my comp anyways. I loved everything else I saw though.

Just looked at those numbers too, guess it's a flop. Let's hope for something else in the future! DoD still isn't quite dead yet, but definitely could use something updated that fills that itch...
