Hi, people of eGO! I was wondering, what makes a map special and not boring? Im curious because i'm making a map of my own and I want to know how to make it not crappy and not boring either. Wanting feedback!

I feel ease of access to all parts of the map is a big one for me. Passing mini games rarely happens in jail. That's why couch game and box race are the main games on canyon dam, That's why Nick and Yokai respectively take the T's to pool EVERY round at Maximum, That why (your average) Warden will take T's to climb on Alcatraz. If a game is easy to get to, and the others are much more of a hassle to navigate to, then (average) wardens will always pick those over others. And that leads to boring rounds of the same game. Just my thoughts~~

i feel like the perfect map is the one i get the most kills on

Balanced gameplay, fun/unique games, and just a hint of randomness to forcefully break stale gameplay. Ts shouldn't feel that it's impossible to rebel on, and Cts shouldn't feel it's impossible to move the ts (Cept Cts suck so you have to make some assumptions on what to balance against).

Having crappy overplayed games randomly closed or a teleporter that can take you anywhere on the map (or randomly dumps Cts into a bulldozer) helps break up stale gameplay without forcing rebellion.
