I used to own a house. It was white. I miss having a garage for my toys.

I've all but told the fiance that we can buy any house she wants next year, as long as it has a three car garage, because I'm sick of scraping snow off of cars during the winter.

I told myself I needed to get a place with a garage. I, too, hated the snow getting on my car. Especially now that I bought two more, I needed a good place to store them. Looking at the rent prices of houses in the northern NV area drove me away from renting, so I just decided to go all-out and get a house with my VA Loan. I rented out the other two bedrooms to my sister and her friend so my mortgage is nearly paid down and I pay next to nothing for utilities, so it's not a bad deal.

I wish I had a 3 car garage. I couldn't afford anything better than what I have now unfortunately.

This is called being smart with money. Nice one! I had plans to buy a place and live in it/rent out as well, but chose to go back to school to pursue my dreams haha.

Also, those cars are perfect in snow! Get sideways and have some fun with them

Haha they're all RWD! The sedan I thought was an XI model so I arrived in LA and found it out was a rear-wheel drive, not an all wheel drive. I said F-It lmao and drove it home.

I thought it would be a good investment. I'm only 20 years old so I have plenty of time for the home value to (hopefully) go up, especially with all these new IT companies flooding Northern NV. Once my two year probation period with the VA expires I'll sell and hopefully have enough to put a down payment on a bigger home, and rent out two more bedrooms haha.

Weird, I always though the X meant it was all wheel! How odd. I'm loving the AWD Subaru... so much fun in dirt, can't wait for the snow. (Which we get a ton of)
