I use AAE, But is there any people that use Microsoft PowerPoint for graphic design?

Like i said, I use Adobe After Effects for all my graphic design, even my steam profile, But is there any people that use Microsoft PowerPoint for graphic design? I was just wondering because my friend is new to graphic design, and dosen't want to pay for a program. i told him that his only real option that uses no effort would be powerpoint, but it wouldn't look to good because its for skrubs. So he wants to see some examples if anybody has one, but it in as an attachment xd

I've used powerpoint a few times at jobs where I had restricted computer access, otherwise gimp is a solid freeware, used inkscape for a bit. What in specific is he looking to do with it?
