It's finally here! The official trailer for Star Wars: The Last Jedi and oh my, does it send chills down my spine and make me emotional 
You can watch the video below and underneath i'll do a quick break down of the bits you might miss.
My analysis of the trailer may give some HEAVY SPOILERS and you are reading this at your own risk. Was hoping the spoiler BBCode would put the text in a box but unfortunately just blacks it out, so please be careful if you do NOT want to read any of it.

If you listen carefully at the times I comment below, you will hear audio extracts from the previous films.

So Rey is the main focus right now, she feels the light, she feels the dark. We hear an audio extract of Ben Kenobi stating that Anakin Skywalker was seduced by the dark side to become Darth Vader and just 6 seconds later, Yoda's extract.
Within the basic history of the films, the Jedi follow the light and the Sith follow the dark. Luke's comment could suggest that he may want these "differences" to be abolished and his comment of 'It's time for the jedi to end' could suggest that he longer considers himself a jedi, but one with the force. A "Grey Jedi".

First, it was used by Jedi and Sith to describe Force-users who walked the line between the light and dark sides of the Force without surrendering to the dark side, and second, it described Jedi who distanced themselves from the Jedi High Council and operated outside the strictures of the Jedi Code. Think of it as being neutral, factionless, they do not follow a path. Luke has seen terrible events of war between the rebels and the empire during the events of Ep 4-6. Now the First Order has returned with the goal of finishing what the Empire had started.
Next, Luke and Rey are shown to be on the island that ended Ep 7 and Luke appears to be teaching Rey the ways of the force, but the overwhelming power of the force is pushing Rey to her limits. Trying to understand the ways of the force was a challenge for younglings, as stated in episode one where Anakin Skywalker was "too old" to be trained as a Jedi, according the Jedi Council. Luke could no longer be following the traditional teachings of the force and may be teaching Rey simply how to control the force and weild it her own will.
There has always been speculation of who Rey is and what her background is and I feel that the trailer is finally starting to reveal her story. We all know that those with the natural link with the force are able to recall memories or attach themselves to others around the galaxy through the force, (take reference to Order 66 at the execution of the Jedi, where Yoda has a huge surge of emotional distress and disturbances in the balance of the force at the battle of Kashyyk in Ep 3).
Assuming Rey is hearing these audio extracts of Leia, Ben, Darth Vader, Yoda and Luke there could be a connection.
Yoda was the Jedi Master who oversaw the training of Ben "Obi-Wan" Kenobi.
Ben Kenobi taught Anakin Skywalker.
Leia and Luke are the children of Anakin Skywalker.
So following this pattern, I believe Rey has a connection to either Leia or Luke, but i strongly believe that Rey is the daughter of Leia and Han Solo. We already know that Kylo Ren is the son of Leia and Han.
Anakin and Padme had twins, so it could be possible that Leia and Han also had twins which were seperated at an early age. Think back to Ep 7 where Rey has a flashback of being "abandoned" and, what looked to be a rebel ship, leaving Rey.
So if this theory is true, then it'd be no surprise that Luke may give Rey the backstory of Darth Vader and finally tell her who her parents are. The shock of this may push Rey to her limits and her and the force may finally connect and show her the truth of who she is. Hence the audio extracts ALL linking with one another.
Of course if Rey does have ties with the force, it'd be easier to understand her natural use of lightsaber, with reference to her battle with Kylo Ren and minimal control of the force.
Remember the lightsaber from episode 7? It called to Rey and triggered her visions of her younger self. But that lightsaber also belonged to Anakin Skywalker, who lost his saber during the battle of Geonosis in Ep 2. To me this is a significant link and backs up the theory of Rey being a Skywalker.

We now see that Luke and R2D2 have been reunited and at some point Luke has returned to the rebellion or they have found him. The structure resembles some sort of temple, possible the last structure of the Jedi.
The next shot is of Captain Phasma and (possibly) stormtroopers walking through a firey mess IS NOT LINKED. Look at the top left corner of this image and the debris, it's metal, it's a doorway, scaffolding sort of materials/structures.

I personally believe that this shot is linked to the attack on a rebel base which is show is this shot with BB-8 and Poe.

Of course it could be another attack at another base but I personally believe that Captain Phasma has led a direct assault on a Rebel base.
I feel that the First Order is now more aggressive in this film but what's more surprising is little focus on Kylo Ren.
This shot below, is accompanied by the audio extract of Yoda and it's environment resembles Dagobah, the planet Yoda exiled himself to after the events of Ep 3 and Order 66.

Then followed by what appears to be a book with the logo of the Jedi Order. The hand we see appears to show compassion to the book and a touch of "gentleness". The brown leather gloves do not belong to anyone I have seen so far in the new films and could be the introduction of a new character with knowledge/connections to the jedi order. I believe it'd be right to assume that this is NOT Kylo Ren, but a new character.

This shot below, could be Leia, in what appears to be a rebel control centre with a map of a star system, most likely looking at a new super weapon from the First Order.

Talking about super weapons and the First Order, not a lot of focus there. Unfortunately i'd like to see a bit more of the First Order but it's understandable if there is no super weapon becasue, let's face it, they keep getting blow up.
CONCLUSION
Star Wars: The Last Jedi is heavily focused on the story of the rebellion, Rey learning the force and the history of the Jedi and how the term "Jedi" no longer exists.
