Best Teamplay Moment

We've all had really good teamplay moments, but I was playing on Dustbowl and we're down attacking from the sewers on stage 3. Myself, a medic with uber, and a pyro. We see there are stickies laid out and the following occurs...

Medic: You want to go?
Me: I'd rather send the pyro.

And now, I was half kidding but I swear that pyro without hesitation ran out onto those stickies and let us get a heck of a lot farther before popping the uber. That kind of suicidal selflessness for the team is just spectacular.

What about you guys?

I would have to say on SunsetTown the other night I snuck through the halls as a sniper and got on the enemy side sniping into their intel room (which I was doing amazing btw, I think I got a demo somewheres) and I picked off all of the enemies in sight then ordered the team to go in, took out the sentry with a couple shots and a teammate popped the door open and I swear to god the entire team scrambled into the enemies intel... It would have been great teamwork.... if I hadn't taken out the whole team already haha! They had the right idea though! They were ready to attack!

That and I sacrifice quite often on the stickies.... I don't know what goes through my head but I think it's something along the lines of "**** it" *BOOM*

I usually shoot the stickies away/find an alternate route to ambush the demo. My best teamwork moment woudl have to be on 2fort. I had just grabbed the intel, had low health, and told the team to distract them while I made an escape. I swear, it was an epic battlefield that I ran out to, and managed to get through. There was even a medic waiting for me. The odd thing was, the entire rest of the round they were so disorganized and doing nothing but suicide rushes, but at that one moment, we just came together in an epic moment.

Warpath when it was the first:

Our team had just captured the center point while I was doing my old patented "slide the tele through the wooden barricade" trick and got two medics, two demomen, a soldier, another engi, and a heavy down there through the teleport so they couldn't tell we breached. Once we got the two sentries up, both ubers charged, and the demos in place to blow up the wall, we steamrolled through the enemy defense, took the point, while we had a spy waiting at the final point to cap. Instant Victory.

The other night it was on warpath, Nutz joins and the tides instantly turn for our team. Anyways, we won our round and at the start of the next rounds Nutz pulls me (playing my faithful medic), himself and a pyro (forgot the pryo's name :P) and he sets it up so that he helps me charge and then when we get out to the middle I break off from the demo and switch on to the pyro. The pyro and I rush through the middle point, lighting people ablaze and push them all the way back through their tunnel while the rest of our team caps. WE did this successfully for about 4 or 5 rounds and really annihilated the other team. Later our pyro was Capt. Mental and we also did quite well. The sacrifice of Nutz to help charge and lose the uber was great b/c it really helped us all out. The first time we did it...fastest cap ever, under 2 mins for sure. That's what they get for not expecting a team to act like one and work together.

When I first started playing, we had a warpath that was amazing beyond all reason. We were getting a bit bored on the last point and he had like three engineers. So, we all worked together with the cover of a demo and pyro. We moved up to the second point, one of the engineers runs to the third, sets up a sentry (I have no clue how so fast) gets the position as we capture the second. Me and the spare engineer goes under while everyone is on top. Sets up a level one while I run to the last point and cap it. Some extremely lucky crits helped. While we built anything, we had some cover fire. It was beautiful.

I've done the usual: jumping in front of a crit rocket to save a medic, running on stickies so my team could cap the point, saving lone soldiers versus two other soldiers as a spy, etc. I don't think I've ever done anything that required anything that required incredible teamwork and cooridination other than a spy rush on Dustbowl.

That first point, level 1 sure caps fast with 9 spies on it...

Best team play moment for me was in warpath when team mates Nutz and David!! came to rescue trapped medics in the bridge respawn while the entire red team was out there. Without anybody to back them up, they would make their way to that spawn point with less than 10 points left. And then, then take intentional fire to charge their uber.

Both times i was trapped and they done it for me. Haloracer got trapped too and Nutz came off that ridge with a sticky jump and made it in there to get Haloracer out. And all of that without even asking for back up.

Probably those two would say they are just crazy and suicidal but when you've played with DaviD!! and Nutz, you definitaly know the meaning of team work.

The best team play was when I bonesawed 8 players all by myself :D..... jkzjkz, but really it happend.
Anyways the best team play was back wen i was just starting to be medic and i was with this heavy and we obliterated the entire team, i had 30 assists and then a spy killed us both lol

Probably yesterday, on Gravelpit we were attacking, already had A and needed to cap B. Well the time was running out and everyone rushed onto the point for a final run. We capped it without a second to spare (literally we were in overtime at least 3 min) after we got the 3 min added to the point we rushed in like crazy and took C in no time...BLU TEAM FTW!!!

More than once I've been the only engie on Convoy guarding the intelligence. No problem, since Team Blu was keeping the other side occupied at their intelligence and it was nice and quiet. Then a demo nade jumps to the roof and starts lobbing them in, dropping into the cockpit. I call for help and start tanking my SG to keep it up. Out of nowhere Drew "mighty pyro" comes flaming in to save the day. Others rushed in to help also, Drew just sticks out since we seem to be on the same team a lot. That kinda of teamwork is awesome...call for backup and have it arrive instead of everybody just off doing their own thing.

I also love the coordination on voicecomm. It's fun to hear my team actually working as a team and talking back and forth to time spy/uber-pyro attacks on the opposing intellilgence.

first time playing medic.
