20 years following the games release, Blizzard has decided it's time to make the game free. Want some old school action? I'm going to download it and play for nostalgia for sure!

Come on Blizzard, do the same for Diablo. It's roughly the same age as SC1 and you can't buy the dang thing legit anywhere outside of ridiculous priced copies on eBay and whatnot...

D1's issue is that it needs a massive amount of updating. Doesn't run properly at all on a modern OS. It also had huge multiplayer security issues. It may be too much work. Just hoping for the remastered version now. They are doing one for SC, probably why this is free

True, but by releasing it they'd at least be getting the code out there so fan made patches could be created to fix at least some of the problems.

wow! Ive been playing single player. Hit up the multiplayer a few time but no one really plays it anymore. That and I almost always get my ass handed to me lol.

Okay this post died, but I would like to know if anyone plays StarCraft 2, anything from co-op to arcade to ranked. Please let me know, I love this game ever since it came out.
