I have a geforce 8800 gtx, and I was just wondering if it is right for me to only be getting 40-60 FPS? People say it should be much higher and that the problem could be my motherboard is out of date. Any thoughts/ideas?
Give us EVERYTING about your comp, before we can give you a accurate cause ie. processor, PSU. mobo, etc. If your PSU isn't that great than your comp can't utilize the full power of your gpu.
Gonna be honest, the fps could drop if you have nothing to load due to a slower internet speed. However, this is usually not that much of a problem, but I've seen it happen on my machine (yay for being out in the middle of nowhere).
