This will be a fun experience for myself and everyone else. I have never tried this before so please give feedback and express what you want next in the poll. The options for the poll are below the story, but you must read first! On a side note, every option will be continued in part two, some may end in a game over, and one path will lead to the final part of the story.
Everything around was dark. I couldn’t make out any light but I could feel the walls of some sort of room. The room was small and enclosed. On the floor there was something that kind of felt like a gun. Out of nowhere a deafening sound of grinding gears started. My stomach lurched as the room began its descent. It moved down quickly as if falling but not quite a free fall. I braced for a impact that never came. After what seemed like ages the elevator had stopped. I didn’t know what to do, but another loud sound rang out and one wall fell down in front of me. The light pouring in was blinding but refreshing. After I got adjusted to the light I decided to grab the gun and exit the elevator.
Upon walking outside I took a deep breath of the fresh air and looked around. The ground and walls all around were painted blue. It looked as if I were in a maze of some kind. The next thing I know gunshots are going off all around. I turn around to see a large wall going high into the sky with no chance of climbing. I quickly ran to a corner and hid with my gun facing front. Despite arriving in this unknown place, I did not want to die here. I thought it would be best for me to stay put and wait for something to happen first. Almost as if on cue, a loud voice boomed over my head; “The Blue Zone will be flooded in fifteen seconds”. I instinctively jumped up and began to run. Around the corner I could see a pyramid like structure that had multiple colored stages. The next one in front of me was a green level. There appeared to be a few plain green painted buildings which the blue zone did not have. While going up the slope to the green area I heard water flowing fast. “The Blue Zone is now being flooded.” said the announcer. I sprinted as fast as I could up to the green zone. At some point I dropped the gun but don't remember when. The sound of water roared behind as I was just getting to the new area. After reaching the top I kept running until the sound of roaring water stopped. Behind me the water level had stopped increasing right where the floor turned from blue to green.
Option One:
Seconds later bullets flew by inches away from me. They hit the wall next to me with loud thuds. I had no time to think and just ran inside a small building. There was green glowing square on top of a counter. I jumped onto the counter and noticed the square was made of light. Beneath the blinding green light was a gun. I picked up the gun and looked at it further. It was small, lightweight, and painted red. Also under the green light were some ammo clips. I was still trying to understand what was going on but one thing was clear enough, I needed this gun to protect myself.
Option Two:
Everything was too quiet and the only sound was the faint waves of water below. I decided to keep walking forward till I got to a large tower. There were no stairs but instead just a ramp going around the tower to the top. I quickly dashed up to the the top of the tower. Upon reaching the top I was tackled into the floor. Instinctively I screamed for help until the guy covered my mouth. He told me to shutup and that he wasn't going to hurt me. I had nowhere to go and no one to trust so I decided to stick with this guy. He gave me a desert eagle while he carried some sort of sub-machine gun.
Option Three:
My mouth was extremely dry so I decided to get a drink of water. I walked back over to where the water rested and reached my hand down into it. I pulled back so fast that I fell over. The water felt scalding hot but there was no steam coming off of it. My hand ached from the unknown chemical in the water. I stood up and walked over to a building that had a strange green light inside. The light was coming from a counter top and appeared to be concealing something. I got on top of the tall counter and found a semi-automatic gun with ammunition under the light. I doubted I could shoot well with my burned hand but I carried the gun anyway.
