MG PLayer AFK -Admins ignored attempts to get him switched -- AVALANCHE

There just now was an MG AFK for most of the last round I was on and the start of current round. I asked twice in the ADMIN chat to notify the admin that we had an AFK MG - clearly the admin was there cause you can check the chat history he was typing !medic and he'd gotten kills cause I looked.

WHY are we being ignored when telling the admins that critical player classes are AFK? Isn't the admins job to actually move people to spectate mode and admin the server when they are there?

Unfortunately admins cannot see every single line of chat that flies by. Sometimes in the chaos of game and Gameme notifications, chat can quickly get lost.

Admins can only see so much and monitor the server so much. We also try to enjoy and play the game as much as possible too, we are not just here to admin all day.

If the server is having larger issues and need more help, a good way to find it is often to drop by our teamspeak channel and drop us a line to issues.

This is a good way to get some help if no one answers you in the game itself.

ts.edge-gamers.com is a free download. once you get it installed, scroll down to the Day of Defeat: Source channels and find an admin. Usually they can be found in room 6.

Like Simon says, sometimes its easy to miss text or chat. Seems like if you did it repeatedly, he probably should have caught it, but oh well, things happen.
