its a gloating thing.

in halo 3, the armor never did anything, it just made you look cool, so people farmed achievements such as steppin razor, overkill, killing frenzy, and two for one, in order to get the armor.

Its they're way of sayin, look how good i am, i has an uber saw!1111
 
valve is tough on cheaters, just like they should. i hope these people get super-mega-permabanned

Here's the only problem with it...

There are people who try this out of curiosity (including those who are new to the game). It would be found extremely cruel and unusual punishment if they were banned from VAC secure servers just because some put in "try this code".
No one really ever gets perma banned from Valve for saying "Hit F10 for invulnerability". To me, it's on the same level. There is no way of them telling who intentionally did it to pass a loophole or those who didn't really know what it did, but did it out of curiosity.

Also considering the Custom-Vanilla server stuff, you'd think we'd know better than to make extreme viewpoints on this. Valve did it right, for the most part, by disallowing it and setting it back to the general.
 
Whose the guy who made a thread on here boasting that he got all achievements?

Because I wanna laugh at him because his achievements been reset lol
 
HOWEVER - CHEATERS JUST HAVE TO KILL ONE OUT OF 50 SCOUTS OR MEDICS TO GET THE ARCHIEVEMENT NOW!! OR HEAL 1 OF 100 BUNING TEAMMATES. NO DISADVANTAGE AT ALL. IT WILL TAKE EVERYONE ELSE AGES!
