I have some crappy news I'd like to share. Last night I went around a corner in my apartment too fast and I rolled my left ankle and found out today it is broken. I won't go into details but just know it was bad.

What this means for me: luckily i can still use my hands to game and best of all I can drive and go to work since i have a desk job and the broken ankle is my left one. This is the first broken bone in my body I've ever had (thread title meaning), and I won't be able to bowl for a few months most likely as well which is the worst part of this.

And another one out of the club.

Heal up quickly and correctly.

PehpurWabbit :(

so sorry man hope you heal fast.

I've still never broken any bones at age 22 haha. Hoping to keep it this way :P

Hope you feel better! Good thing your job involves keyboard skills ;).

I've heard breaking is better than spraining your ankle. Something about the healing process. Hate to hear you got hurt though. Hope you heal up quick and get back on your feet soon!

rekt.
Both my ankles are trash, so I know your pain.

Hope you get better soon. I've had a bone broken but never broken a bone. I think I would take ankle over what I had though.

Went to the doctor's today and got a real cast. They will be taking x-rays every couple weeks to keep on top of it. They said if everything goes to plan i should be normal 3 1/2 to 4 months. Hardest part so far is carrying things with crutches, which i might have to have a plastic bag on me at all times to make it easier. Driving is fine so far which is good and the actual crutch walking I'm already used to. Thanks for all your kind words guys, it means a lot.

I hope it heals up soon so you can get back to bowling. :(

All this after i sent you a picture of that rabbit sprinting with a smoke. Feel better Pepper, sorry youre going through this.

I've been "lucky" (I'm not sure this is the right word) and never broken an arm, leg, wrist, etc. but I have cracked 3 ribs. And, well, that sucks in terms of being painful but doesn't really affect day to day activities.

May you swiftly find a dependable medic.

Just be glad you don't drive a standard.
