Tech Help Dell Laptop Function Key Changed as Default

Weird issue that occurred after I'm guessing an update. Normally, my function keys are set as "Function Key" by default, and you can see that when you go to the Windows Mobility Center screen. However, the past few weeks now, the function keys have been set as "Multimedia Key" instead. Just curious if anyone knew how to change it so that by default, it would be reset as "Function Key" instead of "Multimedia Key".

It looks to be a setting in your bios.
-Reboot your laptop
-Hit f2 to enter bios
-click the advance tab
-switch setting from multimedia key to function key

Have you tried turning it on and off again?

I did that actually and it resets back to the previous default setting whenever the laptop is rebooted or shut down.
