What do we think of this?

I won't name names, but today some players were doing this and getting kicked for it by =eGO='s, yet when the admins left everyone started doing it again, even =e= members.

And it wouldn't have been so bad, but our team was getting wiped out, like multiple consecutive 2 minute losses on gravelpit, meanwhile we had up to 6 medics at a time in spawn healing eachother and either ignoring our requests to help us fight or arguing with us about it.

I'm just sayin.

do it on stat farming servers, not ours. There are plenty of them.

I think its pretty fricking pathetic but I guess let them get it out of their system so we can get back to normal.. this is enough to stop players playing.. Captain Mental is so ticked off he didnt even want to play tonight and that is such a shame he loves playing usually. But its removed the fun somewhat when they are too engrossed in each other to actually play the game.

Yea agreed - its a sad side effect of those great changes - but it should subside soon

I think the novelty will wear off soon and things will return to normal. I for one am fine with farming for medic achievements, but the thing is, don't do it on a server full of people wanting to actually play at peak time. The ones I farmed were in a mostly empty server on off hours. Even then, it was the ones that were of a detrimental nature to teamwork. Uber a scout? really? things like that have no place in a serious game. All those I'm fine with farming, just not during peak playtimes. The rest will come to me over the course of normal play, it will just be awhile. I hope Valve learns from this and the new batches of achievements for the other class are more teamwork friendly.

you make achievements that give people stuff, this is what happens. Nothin can be done about it, its how the system works.

That being said, I'll only ever achievement farm in other servers, if it bugs the higher ups.
