Battlefield 4 Clarification on rules regarding uncaps on Shanghai server.

Good day fellas.

I'm looking to get some clarification of the uncaps and what is and isn't allowed regarding the Boat and the uncaps. I've seen people get kicked before for sitting in the red zones by deployments.(http://imgur.com/PZgfcpL) But today, I was told that I do not in fact understand the rules, and that is something that is allowed. (http://imgur.com/wuFZBbn) Keep in mind, the player was behind the buildings at E by deployment (http://imgur.com/egxk4m9) and could not be engaged by non air units. I understand that Admins have final say, but it gets annoying when the rules are different depending on what admins are on. I've played this server almost exclusively for the past year or so and would greatly appreciate something concrete on this.

I'm not sure, but i think your asking about the boat going back behind the buildings by E. They can run back there to repair, but they cannot stay there, and they are still a legitimate target while in that area.
I hope this was the question you wanted help with and that it answered it for you.

Yes, it does to a degree. As far as that is concerned, could I cite this to admins who say otherwise if needed? I'm not looking to abuse any rules or anything, but I also to want to be abused by admins while in game.

Do Not Camp Vehicles In Uncaps


Vehicles Engaged In Battle Can Be Shot While Retreating


Do Not Fly Helicopters Into Uncaps, Unless in pursuit of a retreating enemy Helicopter. You may pursue a retreating Helicopter into enemy Uncap to finish it off, but may not fire on any other asset while in the Uncap Boundry (Even in self-defense).

First, welcome to EGO. I have seen you in that server before and thanks for your presence in there. Also thanks for your attempt to better understand the rules in a calm fashion. Vehicles in Siege has been an ongoing topic for years and you are asking about a potentially very confusing and complicated one. While the boat is permitted to go back there to repair, it cannot fire out while doing so (which often happens) unless it's engaged by an enemy chasing it (often the chopper, but it could be something else).

Even with my explanation there can be still more confusion yet.
