Got a chance to watch the Shirobako Movie, a long time favourite series of mine. It was nice to see the girls back trying to reach their dreams. It wasn't anything revolutionary and sorta had the same formula as the series, but was overall enjoyable.

Still haven't seen much else lately... been on a long manga bender.

Just finished up watching mobile suit Gundam iron blooded orphans, as my first Gundam it was great. Definitely a tear jerker towards the end I ended up crying around 10 times in the last 5 episodes

Started Aquatope! PA Works original series tend to leave me pretty happy and hoping this one lives up to the reputation of its many predecessors.

Still been reading a lot but also been down the rabbit hole of the Fate/Stay Night visual novel. Finished Saber’s route and onto Unlimited Blade Works now

Just had a great binge of this masterpiece.

86 was pretty solid. Not really following much this season except some leftovers/sequels. Nothing new piqued my interested and I don't really have time to try many shows right now. Although I believe 86 season 2 does start this October which should be fun. I also remember reading somewhere that Overlord and Youjo Senki are getting another season, just not sure when those will come out.

- Kizumonogatari

... but I took a small break and started watching Blend S and K-On!.

Tbh, I would highly recommend watching Kizumonogatari before continuing, thought after finishing Blend-S and K-On (nice choices btw) or whenever you want. I found Kizu one of the most enjoyable Monogatari's and chronologically, it happens first since it is the spring break when Araragi became a vampire. Light novel release-wise, the author came out with Kizu second, past Bake. Everything else in that list is fine.

Anyways, to contribute to this thread, I am currently watching JoJo. I have held it off for so long because of the talk regarding the show, like how JoJo fans are weird and how the show is really odd compared to other "normal" anime.

One of my friends recommended JoJo...but I saw this video and I'm exercising caution:

I am surprised to say that I have been really enjoying it and I am now on Part 3: Stardust Crusaders. The show can get bizarre at times (haha get it) but those type of moments add great details to the story making it really entertaining. And in the end, it's fucking JoJo's Bizarre Adventure.

Honestly, while this is the closest the series has felt to "war sucks for everyone and often the story is told by the wrong people" reality...I still disliked the entire thing.
I'm keeping my finger's crossed that more animation is done at some point for Gundam: Thunderbolt. The stores near me don't carry the manga, and I don't feel like selling organs to buy it through online sources...also, pirating the manga is a no-go because I loves me my Gundam.
