Anime What are you currently watching?

Snipeye I've actually been in and out of town until a couple of days ago, so I haven't really had a chance to catch up on much just yet, but I appreciate the warning haha. I will say though, among the shows I caught up on so far, Hinamatsuri is fantastic. Probably one of the strongest shows this season along with Megalo Box and Golden Kamui. Golden Kamui and Megalo Box are probably the two I'm looking at the be anime of the season.

Snipeye

sorry its been busy for us for a while. Moving and my work being short staffed and slammed we haven't delved into anything new. Just just trying to stay afloat with Shokugeki and Boku no Hero Academia.

RIP MyAnimeList. They are really dropping the ball on getting their site back together, and the initial outage in the first place. Glad I kept my lists elsewhere :P

I've been swamped and hardly had time to watch anything. Although I won a Samsung Tablet so I can load it up with shows for my train rides now!

My anime list would be:
Dragon ball super
Attack on Titan
Blue exorcist
High school DxD

Maoyuu Maou Yuusha

Where to start with this one. Well, this anime is a Romance comedy genre with a nice art style. I finished this recently and was a great watch with the development of characters, plot and pacing. A con I found was how the ending started to get rushed and tried making new plot points and all. It's part fantasy where it starts off with the MC (The Hero aka That's his name for the whole anime) making his final charge to defeat the Demon King (Same name for the whole anime). Though it ends in a different way than he expected which thrusts him into figuring out what is good and evil in his world. It really hits on the point of moral and purpose in this anime which is great thing to have in my opinion.

I'll add more later on.

I agree, they seemed to rush the ending. It's a shame too since I really enjoyed the way they focused on the well being of everyone rather than doing a typical good vs evil fighting scheme. A shame there isn't a continuation of it.

I'm always down for a rom com. Adding this one to the list! (Which gets much larger before anything ever gets completed)

Why are you watching Maoyuu Maou Yuusha for the romance and story instead of the economics?

Yea it has a lot of potential but it just got let down at the end. Still i loved how it was played different.

Bad news: I dropped Charlotte. About halfway through-ish it got disjointed then by episode 10... with my limited time I have it, it just wasn't worth continuing.

Better news: I started....Shirobako. Figured it might be cool to learn a bit more about the industry.

Only 13 episodes left for Charlotte! You're so close. Oh well, you really aren't missing much.

As for your better nemws, Shirobako will probably make you appreciate just how much work actually goes into a single episode of anime. Last I read, a SINGLE episode of anime on average is roughly $150,000 to make.

I tried man, I tried! I just couldn't keep going, it was nonsensical at points haha. I actually work in TV production, so seeing this is VERY interesting to me and at times relatable (a few episodes in already). It's relatively enjoyable too.

My Hero Akadamia. The Art style is actually pretty good. The Fight scenes are great. And honestly so far the plot is alot better than Dragon Ball Super which really let me down.

I'm watching Boruto and Inuyasha

(sarcasm) You know what would be great is if there was a prequel to Boruto.

I have heard the above statement from middle school kids I work with (without the joking or sarcasm, completely serious) and it makes my anime heart hurt.

I think you need to sit them down and just show them where it all started.
