Anime What are you currently watching?

I just started watching My hero academia and it's the first anime I watch dubbed. It's been getting increasinly more difficult for me to focus on one thing at a time (stopped taking my ADHD meds) so now I can actually watch anime again and understand everything while doing other stuff

I've seen this pop up in a few places recently and I have no idea where people are getting this information from. There has been nothing official from White Fox (studio that did the first season) nor the author of the light novel saying that a second season is in the making. The light novel has been selling less and less with each new volume (the opposite effect of what the anime is supposed to do). It's unlikely we'll see another season.

I just finished Steins;Gate 9/10 good watch if ur into sci-fi. Now onto Steins;Gate 0, already watched some and im disappointed that they went in a different story arc

Also, Just got finished with Dagashi Kasshi. It was better than I was expecting, Just kinda sucks it won't get it's actual manga ending.

The article doesn’t actually cite the interview - gonna call it a hoax. Although I’m dreaming of a season 2 as well.

That site is probably slightly better than something like the onion when it comes to accurate information. As Simon said, they didn't cite the interview itself. In fact, they never really cite anything from what little I've seen on their site. I saw an article about them mentioning a Log Horizon season 3. The main issue with that is any studio that could do a decent job at producing it wouldn't touch that show even with a 10 foot stick. He was caught tax evading with the royalties obtained from his drastic increase in sales after the anime aired.

I'm not saying that they are lying that the director of the anime confirmed it is happening, but it is incredibly rare for the director of an anime to be the one making those comments/decisions before the original creator even mentions it. Also, a post in April, looking to claim it's coming in 2018/early 2019 is rather ambitious. Generally the original creators are making posts well over 6 months in advance before something starts to air. A few recent examples I can think of are back in May with Promised Neverland and Yagate Kimi ni Naru. Both were announced by the original creators first on the first page of the manga for that week/month (yagate is a monthly series) and are slated to air for winter 2019. Even Overlord used a film last July to announce their new season that aired in winter 2018.

I guess the tl;dr goes back to the point I made in the previous post. Unless it's said by the original creator with a valid citation, like their twitter feed, it's most likely not an accurate source.

When you see something like "TV アニメ", that's how you know it's coming Although, it looks like he's too busy playing Star Ocean at the moment though.

I mean, I'm just kind of holding out hope at this point. The Manga is still going, The Anime got good reception, Especially in the U.S. Idk why they'd just let it flicker out.

I'm also holding out hope for Dagashi Kashi. Even tho the Manga ended on a kind of chekov's gun. I'm hoping the artist makes a new Manga based off them as adults in the Buisness, Or at the very least we get the rest of the manga as a season 3, instead of that crappy ending to the anime series we got in season 2.


On a different note, The next volume of the Darling in the Franxx manga is set to release september 25th. They've actually changed up a lot of major scenes from the anime, So it'l be interesting to see if DITF gets a new ending.

If anyone is looking for a different kind of anime. take a look at Cells at Work. Its about the cells inside your body and the different jobs they have. Educational: yes, but still has a good story. Definitely one to watch if you want to change things up

Some semi-good news for DITF fans: At a recent panel, Someone Finally asked the big question of what the future of the series is going to be. In which The writer basically stated He's not entirely sure and needs a little time to think of what direction to go with it next. Which Hopefully means he isn't giving up on the series. Not to mention Trigger has stated they're open to doing more with the series as long as they can get the director on board.

After months and months Shaudono and I are almost done Hyouka. Should finish up today. I haven't been able to watch Cowboy Bebop due to blu-ray player issues. Probably borrow the PS3 from my parents place soon.

In the mean time, I've started.

The second one will be slow, I only watch it on the train.... when I remember to charge my tablet..

I never watched Gamers! actually. So far it's been pretty good - girlfriend got the manga to read as well for herself. It's been on my list for a bit. Just need to remember to actually charge the tablet I've got it saved on for the train rides
