Anime What are you currently watching?

When someone ask me what movie to watch on Netflix, I tell them Beast of No Nation. It a movie about a young boy in africa that joins a rebel and he gets stronger mentally through all these road blocks. But all he wants to be is just a boy with his family.

A Certain Scientific Railgun S (again) and I am waiting for the new season around now! :3

I'm Watching B the Beginning. Really good action based anime.

Watched an early 90s movie called Roujin Z. Was fairly fun, interesting look at morals. Doesn't seem overly popular but was a decent watch for sure.

Just finished Rascal Does Not Dream of Bunny Girl Senpai.
Really Really good, plays with your heart strings a lot, and has a good amount of comedic releif.
The show has the perfect amount of sci-fi to keep it a proper romance show.

10/10 and would recommend getting sad over this one

Your lie in April: Finally got around to watching Your lie and I can genuinely say that I have never felt so captured in a story, following the life of young Kousei was definitely interesting. I've never been great at musical type work or enjoy any types of musicals in all honesty but I was so caught by everything that was happening that once I started I couldn't stop watching. Overall this is one of if not the best anime that I have seen yet, it told a wonderful story that kept me on the edge of my seat the entire time. There's one scene in episode 16 that is towards the end of the episode that every time I hear it I get chills on my arms. One of the greatest stories I've ever followed, the only reason I didn't give this a 10 is because I feel like I could of used one more episode at the end to help fill in the last of the series 9/10.

Rascal Does Not Dream of Bunny Girl Senpai: Once again another great story that I loved following, the story got a bit convoluted at some point and was kind of confusing to follow at some points but I really enjoyed this show personally. The main character of this show is one of the funniest characters who brings a great comic relief to the series that I feel is deeply needed. Thought the first 3 episodes of this show were absolutely amazing and were wonderful to watch. Overall would give this show a 8/10.

Mob Psycho 100: This show I picked up after both seasons had ended and I can gladly say I enjoyed both seasons of the show. The first season I felt was introducing the characters and was telling a good story about Mob and all the new people around him. I would rate season 1 a 8/10. Season 2 I enjoyed a whole lot, thought the way they introduced everyone was great and mobs development throughout the entire season was great as he grew as a human. Would rate the second season an 9/10.

Watching Blue Spring Ride as well - I read the entire manga and know that this series will not cover much of the manga, but still nice to see it animated together nicely.

Alrighhttyy, new show is airing currently, I watched the first ep, and fell in love with the direction the show seems to be heading.
the show is called In/Spectre and I would recommend trying to watch the show if you have the time!

I'm not going to give my opinion on this, since I typically create some form of false dichotomy when I rate shows.

anyway, it looks like its going to be good :)

Digimon AR Game

Digimon Adventures 2020 (The TV series, not the movie)

And if you haven't seen the most recent Digimon movie trailer

_MEGA _MEGA I saw some of those! All the new Digimon content coming out has me really excited - especially the movie. I feel like it's going to be quite the ride for the life-long fans of the series.

Alright it's time for the Jojo's Bizarre Adventure Review. Note, if you haven't seen the first two parts I didn't spoil those two and there are very minor spoilers in the rest of the writing, after that.

Part 1: I personally feel as though part one of Jojos was the weakest part of the series for me, with the lack of stand abilities and no real characters that you feel attached too other then Jonathan. Although I really didn't have any big issues with part one, I just didn't super love it compared to the other upcoming parts. Overall part one for me was a 7/10.

Part 2: For this part I really loved the characters in this arc and the way that they all somehow come back together. I.E. Caesar, and Joseph coming together just like Zeppeli and Jonathan did in part one. This part of the story had one of my favorite training arcs in anime, where they were training with Lisa Lisa learning how to better their use of hamon. Also, on top of all of that there was quite a lot of great fights despite how short this part was. Overall would give part two a 8.5/10.

Part 3: Alright to review this part, I really feel like I have to break it up in to two acts. The first act will be the first 24 episodes, personally I really didn't enjoy this part of the story that much, it was pretty much only fighting for 24 episodes, and I feel it got pretty repetitive watching them fight all the time. On top of that when they were fighting they were always fighting an uninteresting character that would get destroyed pretty easily. I would give the first act a 7/10. For the second half of the story I really enjoyed A LOT of the fights in this act. The first fight that comes to mind for this part was with D'arby the Gambler or D'arby Elder. I thought this was one of the funniest and greatest "fights" in the show. After that the fights and the rest of the story I thought was pretty epic, between the inevitable fight with Dio, to the fights with Pet Shop, D'arby the Player, and also the epic fight with Vanilla Ice. Oh, also Joseph Joestar is hilarious and is one of my favorite Joestars. Overall I would give this act a 9/10. So between the two parts I would give this part a 8/10.

Part 4: This I believe is my favorite part of the series, throughout all 39 episodes of this part there was this ominous feeling that I had, that there was something that wasn't completely right. Everything about this arc I really loved, between the epic fights that Josuke and crew had to the little things that Kira would do to make sure that he wasn't caught. The story of this part is, not just following the main characters but it was telling the story of this creepy little city known as Morioh, which I thought was really interesting compared to previous parts where they would travel to the cities where the main villain was. Overall I think this part of the series had my absolute favorite villain in all of Jojos, that being Kira Yoshikage, the vibe that he gives off is insane and the way that he and every one in this part develops is absolutely great. Overall I would give this part a 9/10.

220px-JoJo_Part_5_Golden_Wind.jpg

Part 5: For this part, I really enjoyed the fact that it's the complete opposite of most parts of the story, that follows a gang where everyone in the gang is a "bad guy" but in all reality they just want to help out the area they're in by taking out the boss. This part had some of the best fights in the series yet, the epic fights between the main antagonist and how he was completely ruthless throughout the entire part was some of my favorite fights in the series. Along with that it has one of the greatest scenes in Jojo's with the seven page Muda attack. Needless to say, I thought this arc was pretty good and enjoyed it a lot. Overall would give this part a 8.5/10.

Completed R.O.D (Read or Die) the OVA. Don't think I'll tackle the TV series but this was fun. The characters were neat and it's only 3 episodes so, worth your watch. Great fight scenes and artwork. The "powers" are cool too.

Onto Bakuman. Love this so far! I love Shirobako so having a series about manga creation is the next best thing. About 8 episodes in and enjoying their journey so far.

Fire Force season 1 was super exciting.

Im going to try and avoid all spoilers, so I won't go into examples for anything.
The show is a typical shonen, with comedic relief in times of stress instead of filler episodes. (it seems like they avoid the typical Naruto style useless episodes.)
The character building/development is good where it needs to be, and the character depth is really well done, You get such a good understanding of each character, you can predict how they act, before they do. Even with the ability to be able to know what each character is going to be before they do it, the show manages to keep suspense, and build excitement.
although the show has the clich? "surpass your limits" mindset at times, it still feels like a fresh take, watching this show.
The art style reminds me of Blue Exorcist, a show I watched and enjoyed a while back. Casting on this show was great, the characters seem to fit their voices, and the voices seem to fit their personality well, and there is no "annoying voice character" which you see sometimes.

overall I think this season was quite well done, and has me excitedly waiting for the next one.

I don't see the future arc, or how the show will go after the current arc of the show. that being said, I see 205 (at this time) Manga chapters, and hope the show continues.
