Tech Help Need Replies ASAP.

So I run a GT 710 which should get me around 100-200 fps in CSGO on low / medium settings. I have 12 GB ram and I have a i5 4460 overclocked at 3.7 GHZ along with my monitor overclocked at 75 ghz. I have changed all the settings in the nvidia control panel to keep it optimized yet I still cant seem to get more than 40 fps on 1920by1080. Is this a game issue or is there a solution because it should be able to withstand 100 fps in that high of resolution on low settings such as it does for many others with entry level graphics cards.

And also, quick question. Does anyone have any budget graphics card suggestions with links? Some cards that can run games like H1Z1 KOTK and Overwatch on 60fps on decent settings. I would appreciate the suggestions. Thanks everyone!
 
First thing I'd try is turning down the resolution a bit. If you see a significant frame improvement from that alone, then that just means that your computer isn't able to handle it. Given what you provided, some other piece of your system might not be pulling its weight. After all, your computer is only as fast as its slowest component, so one slow thing could decrease the entire system's performance. And if I can get over 100 FPS on my own potato of a computer, your 710 should be perfectly fine for CSGO.

As for in-game settings, here's some stuff you can try turning down/off:
- Antialiasing
- Texture Filtering
- Vertical Sync (This can cap/lock FPS, and is a primary candidate for causing FPS issues)
- Various Quality Settings

Make sure you are running in fullscreen and have multicore rendering enabled. If laptop power savings is given to you as an option, it can also cap your FPS low for the sake of not over-taxing your system, make sure it's off.

That actually was my problem the multicore rendering makes it 3x faster. I run at 150 fps on 1920by1080 now. Thanks Super!

if you have a problem with hardware i suggest looking whats bottle necking, as a cpu may bottle a gpu if not compatible theres software fort his i recommend pm me for more info as theres also other little things to fix or help you improve your frames per second (via commands) or just your computer settings too lmk! ;p

Also, Im not even sure it fits the MB. He might need to change both CPU and MB, and most likely RAMs and also his entire house because fml why not?
 
Like Agent posted, a 1050Ti would be the best choice if the man in on a budget. I personally would skip the 1050Ti and go with a 1060. T Trunks , his 4460 would bottle-neck a 1080Ti =) i currently have two in SLI at the moment
 
I was joking with the 1080 ti.... I used a 960 over clocked for a while with my old CPU and ran csgo on max I think with 250- 300 fps on most maps, if you want we could work something out cause I don't use the graphics card any more. Like I said message me for more help as I can walk you through with some settings that can help

With what i have read, a 1080ti would not be bottlenecked that much with an i5-4460. he should generally see 80-90 fps on AAA cpu intensive games if running a 144ghz monitor with 1440p. the only game he might have an issue with bottlenecking is Arma 3 due to it being extremely cpu intensive
 
I concur with the idea of the 1050TI. I just recently got one and it runs GTA V with 45-60 frames and BF1 at around the same. Both are very demanding games. I got the SSC edition which was $155 or so at the time. It's gone up to $192 now but its well worth it you can't afford much else.

OOOPS!!! Sorry Alex! Im super tired and can hardly keep my attention in one spot. CrossCheck CrossCheck , i went from a 4790k with a single 1080 and then got a second 1080 and had issues .... then i swapped to two 1080Ti's and that was a total MESS. After that, i swapped to a 7700k and soon will swap to a 7820X!!!!

The reason you had problems was because the 4790 along with your 7700k only has 16x pci-e lanes so both 1080 ti's were running 8x each and couldn't take advantage of the full pci-e bandwidth of each card. a single 1080 ti will run fine with his cpu since he is using the full 16x pci lane. once you add a second card it cuts the performance down of each card in half. plus not all games cooperate with SLI.

If he is just getting one 1080ti he will be perfectly fine

Even now with your 7700 and the 7820x (28 pci-e lanes running @14x each), you aren't getting the full potential of those cards. A 6900k (40x pci-e lanes) will run those cards better than your 7700k or a 7820x

I even had problems running 2 radeon HD 7950 xfired with my 4670k due to the lack of pci-e lanes to power those card to their full potential at the time.

Yes, BUT i had issues running a single 1080Ti with my 4790k on the 16x slot. Im more than aware of the bandwidth issues when you cut down your PCI express lanes in half. And the reason for swapping to the 7820x will be for 24 PCI EXPRESS LANES!!!!!! And 128GB of ram lol
