Pyro Cosplay (Costume)...anyone? :)

I just got done with it. Besides preparing for exams and whatnot I've been working on this for quite a long time *whew*

I'm really into anime and go to cons and junk, like the upcoming A-Kon 19 here in Dallas. But this time there is a Guinness World Record's attempt to assemble the largest gathering of Video Game Characters ever!

Of course I did not know about it before hand. I only chose a Red Pyro because its the class I excel in the most.

So, any of you going to A-kon 19, Any of you plan to do a TF2 cosplay? And what do you think about it?

Only problem with it is now is..its hard to navigate in its limited field of view...and its also really hot in there...
 
One of the best I've seen.

Make sure to torch all the con goers. Those BLU spies are such party poopers.

I do take commissions :)

Though Making that Minigun would be an interesting challenge to say the least. I just learned hot to metal texture cast iron on to things for this cosplay project so it shouldn't be too hard.

and funny, i was just talking to my friend who i met at another con about making the minigun. He wants to do the Heavy for A-kon as well :)
 
You need a picture of yourself with the axe! Or a guitar!

Nice costume. I would recommend it being a little bulkier :)

And if I were to make my own costume, it would be spy or medic.
 
Wow! That looks incredible!

If your looking for a better medium, you might give fiberglass resin a try (the automotive stuff). It'll work on anything -- plastic, metal, wood, cardboard, paper, cloth -- and can be sanded down to a smooth finish or left dappled to give it texture. Only thing is it's messy, so be sure to use it in small batches, always outdoors, and keep a rag and some acetone around to clean up any mistakes.

Yep. I'm thinking of stuffing myself a little bit...hopefully not adding to thermal atmosphere already inside...>_>

I was gonna use a real propane tank with drilled holes inside to show that it didn't contain gas...but then i would make it so that you could easily hook up a real tank...and let the gas flow...>_>

:) I started right after Anime Matsuri which was around March 23 :) took me about a month and a half :D
 
That's awesome!

You should also do a picture of the shotgun taunt....

photoshop the flame bursting from your hands!
