Next year? What are you talking about? It came 29'th of April world-wide! I got it myself the very same day it came and I live in Sweden.
Anyway, I LOVE IT. It's one of the best games EVER made. Whew, I don't know what to say about it, you have to play it to realize how good it is. Go buy it, NOW! ;D

I'll wait for PC. The GTA games have been so immersive on this format; I just can't get into them playing on a TV. Now if I hook it up to my parent's 52 inch LCD, that's another story, but only when I can use a mouse and keyboard (hopefully it will have support for my force feedback racing wheel too).

ahhh we got it on the first day... we hit up the gamestops but they were all reserved and everyone was so bummed... so i went to target and they had like 30 copies like normal because nobody likes target.... GET YOUR GAMES AT LOSER STORES! THEY ALWAYS HAVE SOME!

I just played it last night, and damn! I can't wait to get it on the ultimate gaming system (PC for life!). It's a blast just walking around and seeing how far the "life" in the game has come. The AI and variety of characters is great and adds a lot to the atmosphere. I was cruising through town and showing the litterers who is boss! Anytime someone threw their trash onto the sidewalk, I would slam on the brakes, jump out of the car, grab the offender's trash and throw it back at them. I even started a fight with a couple hooligans, and the cops quickly arrived and backed me up! Too bad they left the key in the ignition... :-D

The only thing that i wish had carried over from San Andreas was teh car customization the only elements that were left behind I could care less about.
The controversy is already going MADD is getting huffy about the fact that you can drive drunk now.

Who's ready for the next "Blame GTA" battle??? I swear Rockstar provides an excuse for everyone to fall back on... If a bad choice is made fingers point at them because of the GTA series... lol

Wow I agree with you exactly! I almost thought it was me talking for a sec there. Yeah the eating/muscle building aspect of San Andreas was just tedious, you'd have to interrupt your fun-filled romp to grab food. The load times to go in and out of shops were annoying, too (good thing they're gone now). Car customization was definitely the best part that I wish were still in the game, though.

The game arrived on Saturday. I've played about 4-5 hours worth, just blasting through some missions. I've had a great time! This game definitely does not disappoint.
