I'll probably pick it up eventually. It looks so awesome.
I read the IGN review the other day and if I'm not misttaken it;s the first game in the history of IGN to get a perfect 10 on 10.

Yeah if you look at the reviews, a few games got 10s. Ignore the cell phone game, though, I think one of them got a 10.

I have a bad habit of driving around and causing trouble instead of doing missions. In the old games if the cops caught you, you lost your weapons. Now i pull cops out of the car and steal their car for the shotgun shells. And if they do happen to kill me, i repsawn with all my ammo/money still. Not sure if this is a "beginner" thing and will lose items later on. But, really have no fear of dieing now in the game. The best so far was stealing a semi and getting into a chase. The thing is like a tank, plowing through everything.

Nope, it's not. However you only keep your guns if you die and respawn in a hospital, if the cops arrest you, you lose all your weapons.

When you die you lose $2000 in medical bills, but you get to keep your weapons. I was doing the manhunt missions, and I kept dying. I ended up losing 30k on medical bills.

I still don't get how to hail a cab. I use the button to do it, and the taxi stops, so I press triangle to get into the taxi, but Niko just ends up jacking it instead. What gives?

I beat the game yesterday, although.. I got the revenge ending. :|
AKA Bad ending.

Got it the day it was launched.... kinda.
My brother got it and when he came home it was around 12:00 AM.
So... Basically April 30th, but.. I like 29th better.

Took me... 6 days.
April 29th - May 5th



AND FOR THE TAXI PROBLEM, press L1 and Niko should whistle to it. Then you can hold Triangle to get in. I think it only works if you get through the tutorial about taking a cab.

not it always works. You need to HOLD triangle not just tap it.

I just spent the last 3 hours playing it online. Wow! What a fun game. I was walking around and I heard sirens, then all of a sudden some guy was driving by in an ambulance trying to run me over haha.

Pro Tip:

Steal an ambulance, park it next to a gas station tank, climb up on top of the car, shoot the tank, and watch Niko fly over 10 buildings. Or line it up (like I did) and rocket into the river
