Convoy

Lately I've had several none Ego members ask me where the convoy server went. I'm not sure if many of you know or not but I spent more than have of my TF2 time on the EGO convoy server. I'm not sure what to tell them about it or even if I should. What do you think?

It got turned into a goldrush server last week It's a shame; I really liked playing in the convoy server, and that is where I learned to play.

I am also looking forward to the return of Convoy. I'm sure it will be back at some point, when the Goldrush... erm... gold rush calms down.

I miss convoy as well. Not that Gold Rush isn't awesome.... Perhaps someone will donate another server? (And/or lots of money.) Then they will be able to run more simultaneous servers.

I really hope that convoy comes back, I miss that server. Even if the Engies can't build in some of the places we could before.

There will be no return of convoy. It's gone and dead per Garden.

While debating which server to axe to make room for Goldrush on a long term basis, Convoy went several days being empty or near empty well after all the other servers were full. This rather sealed its fate and Garden announced in the chatbox that Convoy had drawn the short straw so to speak.

Convey was super fun. It's the map that got me into the eGO servers. I'm sad to see it go Will sunset town be coming back? I also really loved that map.

That is really lame. Convoy was my favorite map BY FAR!!!!!

Don't remember ever seeing the server dead or near empty for several days, not even one day.

Convoy 2 being forced onto ther server did cause quite a drop in players overall.

Convoy 1 had and still has a very dedicated following that rarely let the numbers down until way early in the morning hours.

Convoy 1, SNOOD could always get home from work 9 PM and the server was easily full til time for bed at 2 to 3 AM

If there was a slow down on the server it was because CONVOY 2 was forced upon the regulars that played there all the time.

The regulars for the most part, did not like Convoy 2 at all.......

The players that play Convoy 1 are a dedicated bunch that packed the server quite a bit.

Snood knows for a fact that a lot of peeps including myself, would wait to see if Convoy 1 was on b4 joining the server.

Please bring it back.

Please Leave Convoy 2 off this time.

This is the exact thing that I'm running into. Yes, sometimes convoy was empty at 5am but other than that when convoy 2 wasn't being shoved down our throats, the server was full. By far the reason that I decided playing in EGO. Don't we have 2 goldrush servers now? why can't we just have one convoy and one goldrush? IDK. I don't ever remember seeing a vote on the convoy switch anyway, it just happened. I may be wrong, yet at the same time I can't fathom as to why things would just happen this way. I didn't think that EGO was like that. I thought it was an organization where every member had a say in what happens regardless of rank. I hope that I was correct and I'm missing something.
