What to do about players who break the rules when there are no mods around?

Hi,
Just wondering exactly what the topic says. Quite a few times on on EGO servers and people are either swearing or have inappropriate tags and there are no mods around. I do usually let them know that what they are doing is not allowed but sometimes they continue to do so or start making fun of my telling them to not break the rules.
What exactly is the protocol in this situation. Do I just note down their names and post it in the request ban section?

Well you need to get on your steam friends and call in an admin to take care of the problem, if there arent any then you need to type status into your console, get that persons steam id, and put in a request ban.

That's right. If someone or something is bugging you and you'd like to do something about it try to contact an admin. If that doesn't work get their information. You can do this by going to your console, typing 'status', and get their steamid (just like sharp wrote). Also Important! gather some evidence, screenshots or a record of what's in the console. These usually cover things and post all this in the Request Ban forum.

If it bugs you that much it probably isn't allowed and you would be doing the clan a service by writing up a request ban

these guys sumed it up nicely.... but best thing to do is add some eGO to your friends list get to know them and im sure they would be happy to jump in and give a hand with a situation if you need it

There is also the chat box, on the right side of the edgegamers.org website that you can use to ask if an admin can come help you in the server you're in.

Also, you can go on ventrilo. There is ALWAYS atleast one admin on, even during the wee hours of the morning.


Also, join the TF2 steam community and you will have a whole list of admins on steam who can take care of stuff too

well when theres no admin on a server you could do one of these things:
1 go to your steam friends or to the site chatbox and call or ask an admin to take care of the problem
2 go to console and type status,get there steam id and name and post a request ban
3 go to ventrilo like blackhawk says theres atleast one admin on
4 go to the tf2 community theres a list of admins there

well i think thats pretty much what you could do
