Not the best set up.
Windows 10 1703 64 Bit
Intel(r) COre 15-6400 CPU @ 2.70GHz
8Gb ram
GPu GTX 970
MOBO: GIGABYTE z270X Designare.

I updated windows, did all driver updates, memtest, ran 3dmark, stressed out my GPU and CPU, all passed. everything passed....
But when I play games, for example lately I've been playing StarCraft 2 and after maybe an hour of playing, maybe 4-5 20 minute games my computer freezes...Have to power down. Any suggestions on what could the cause, I've googled it, and most people say it's display drivers, gpu drivers...all updated, uninstalled and reinstalled.....


Sidenote, it also crashed on me 2 hours ago just running adobe premier and elgato game capture

Sounds like a bad stick of RAM. If you have 2 sticks of RAM pull one of them out and see if it still freezes. If it still freezes put the stick of RAM back in and pull the other stick out and test again.

yea that's what I thought but RAM, checked out..But for now I solved my issue...took a lot of research but yay !
