Gist: Activision Filed for a patent to have a matchmaking system based on micro-transactions. I.E. you buy stuff, you get easier lobbies.
Also, Michael Condry of COD:WWII not hearing of a patent does not keep said patent from being in a game: He is a corporate head, he does NOT need to know everything that Activision has scripted into the game...just saying.
My response on the video: "It's not in COD:WWII, we developers promise (mostly). It also won't be in later COD titles ( ::trying and failing not to laugh at people believing this:: ). Please have faith in us (give us all your money)." There, I translated Activision language for all....you're welcome.
Signed, a super-burned COD warrior from back in ye old COD and COD:UO days.
What do all of you take from this?
