Tech Help Gaming Mouse Wired/Wireless

Hey All,

I am making a thread after being MIA for over a year but just like the title says I need to look into getting a new mouse. My mouse that I have is a Razer Chroma Deathadder, now that I have had it for a few years now it is double clicking when I don't want it to so I need to look for something soon, if its cause of wear and tear then I definitely need a new mouse.

I want to know what are some good Wireless and Wired gaming mice. Razer is what I usually use but I can branch out to another brand if the price is right.

If you like your DeathAdder and want to stick with it, I'd recommend just getting the DeathAdder Elite. It's just an improvement over the older DeathAdder, still has chroma, and it's just still great.

If you decide you want to switch it up a bit and go away from Razer, Logitech has the G403 which is still fairly simplistic style with a great feel. Same price as the DeathAdder elite if you buy directly from Logitech, however, I did find it a bit cheaper on Amazon.

If you decide to just go completely wild and go with a different feeling, shape, etc. I use the Logitech G502 and I love it. It's a heavier mouse, so you will need to adjust to that. You can also weight it however you prefer. It's more expensive than the other two, but it's still a good mouse.

Ultimately, if you liked the DeathAdder Chroma and you want to stick with Razer, the DeathAdder Elite makes sense. It's just an improvement on an already fantastic mouse. Just threw in the Logitech mice to give you other options if you desire. I'll post the links and the prices I found below. I will say this though, before you make a decision. When looking at the different mice, you only save about $9 choosing the G403 over the DeathAdder Elite. It is cheaper, but not by much. My dad always told me, when something's cheaper, it's usually cheaper for a reason. My recommendation is still the DeathAdder Elite, but feel free to make your own choice.

As someone who's had Razer since the start of my (PC) gaming career (5+ years), and I've always stood by them and always replaced my Razer gear with new Razer gear, I think I'm finally abandon ship on their products. The more recently their products, I keep to running into more and more hardware issues plus, Razer Synapse is one of the worst software products I've ever had to deal with..
From my personal recommendation, and someone who has a Razer Black-widow chroma, a 2016 Chroma Naga and a (broken) pair of Adera headphones. I think I'm moving towards Logitech or Corsair, because that seems to have non-stop positive reviews and good experiences with their community/support staff.

I have always been a Logitech fan. I have the G502 and is by far the best mouse i have owned so far. Its comfy for long gaming sessions, durable and love the Logitech gaming software.

Besides amazing build quality with their products, what always keeps me going back to Logitech is their tech support/customer service. Out of all the tech companies that i had to call for support/rma/warranty service, Logitech sets the standard for me. When i used to have the G430 headset (switched to seperate headphones and mic) The left channel stopped working. I called up to get an RMA on it, they shipped me out a new one without even having to send the old one back first. That blew me away.

Now i haven't experienced Razer tech support/ customer service before, but hear alot of negative comments out their customer service.

Well I might lean towards Logitech for a chance and get the G502.

I personally love my Logitech G502. Some people complain that it is still heavy even without the added weights so keep that in mind when looking into it!

1) I got the same stupid double clicking issue as you with my Deathadder.
2) I'm planning on a new build (hopefully!) for November/December, and I plan on going with the Deathadder Elite. Best advice is go with what feels good and right for you. Everyone has a different grip style and the shape of the mice can make it or break it depending on your hold. I do more of a claw style and the Deathadder just feels right. The last one that worked fine for me before the Deathadder was the OLD Logitech MX518.
