last night I was on a separate server from edge gamers it was a medic server I believe, this was around the time I received my e and I had a momentary lapse of judgment where I was killed by another player while working on an achievement and I said the F word, I feel really guilty about it, and I know I'm now representing the ego, and my actions (at the time I swore on another server) are a poor representation of this organization. I'm extremely sorry for this slip up, and I feel extremely guilty, and I assure you this kind of thing wont happen again.

Guilty conscience eh? Relax, no one's going to judge you if you're PO'ed and feel the need to vent. Its when you're being a deliberate pain in the rear that we harbour negative thoughts about you. :P On the flipside, if you feel like swearing, be creative about. You might get a 'lol' out of somebody for mixing unrelated words together... :D
 
yea everyone slips up from time to time... its when you continue to slip up when it becomes a problem.... ive learned it i get really frustrated and need to slip up a curse i just release the mic button before going on lol

Dr. Waffles, your stock has just gone up a notch in my book. (Not that my book is worth anything, but that's still meant to be a compliment.)

I've actually had to check myself a couple of times when playing on other servers. (Both times I played on other servers. :-P) When other people are swearing in voice chat, it's almost natural for those words to become a part of your vocabulary again.

While you should definitely try to be more careful in the future, I commend you for realizing your mistake and recognizing what it means to be a member of this illustrious organization. :)
 
Waffles, if I could ban you from their server I would, but only so you'd spend more time on ours being a good example of a responsible player.
 
Yeah, I slip out, too. But, never on eGO™ servers! It's goo that you're honest.

Just play on our servers, it will practice you with your languages and actions.
 
I do my best not to slip up. I can't even let bad language flow from my mouth while the mic is off because people nearby me in real life will give me looks......anyways you definitely showcase the character of a good eGO member and it is because of people like you that our servers are so clean and fun.

I commend you on your honesty Waffles. I have experienced your frustration on other than ego servers and i have a suggestion for you. when all of the ego servers are full, i use the autoretry feature. Just click join and check autoretry. Usually i will get in a server in less than 10 minutes! Also get to know the admins and add them to your steam friends. That way if someone is missbehaving you can contact someone to deal with it.
 
heh, just keep your finger of the "V" : ) I get really frustrated sometimes as well, everyones human so its all gravy
 
Yeah, I swear plenty. random crit rockets and such. I have quite the colorful commentary in my house, I just don't push the talk button. And like someone said above. People slip up, not a big deal. Its the people that continue to slip up over and over and over that become a problem.
