I was wondering if we are able to do this on the ego servers because it really isnt an exploit or anything, they made it like that in the game.

If not, i wouldn't worry about it because it can be fixed easily. Valve can just make it so you cant gain an ubercharge while you are ubered.

btw the song is kinda umm.......bad
 
That requires a lot of awesome timing and really good teamwork. There's nothing exploitive about it, it's just a really powerful (if done right) technique.
 
Yup, it should be interesting if Valve does anything. I'm sure that this is not what Valve "intended" and thus is subject to be changed. But man, something like this medic combo at choke points where there are lots of people could be devastating. I can see the coordination now... First send in the Wonder Twins to cause havoc, followed by the ubered demoman to clear out sentries, followed by the Kritzkreig heavy and soldier to clear out the rest. =)

Of course, knowing Valve, they will wait until everyone is using this technique (say 2 months from now) before saying uber cannot be charged while ubered, thus causing more riots ;)

yeah, mostly, the "ennemies" of the medics were not doing anything and were letting them hit them. You just have to build a sentry, or blow them with stickies or rockets and bam, ubertwins are down ^_^

you can even all retreat for the time the 2 ubers are down and then counterattack or even headshot one of them while they are changing the person which ubers

what I like about TF2 is that whatever strategy is created, it is never impossible to counteract. This one, as good it is on video, is no exception. However, I'd like to see that going in my team ^_^
 
That does require quite perfect timing and gotta get the uber in before the other runs out. But tis a genius idea.
 
ln(e) and Tazy were doing this on the goldrush and dustbowl servers this weekend.

It works very well against all the noobs coming in from the free weekend. And all the medics trying to farm achievements.

But it's not too hard to defend against. Just launch them with rockets or stickies and throw their timing off. As soon as you throw off their timing the whole system fails.

I wouldn't be surprised though if Valve makes it 5 hits instead of 4 though. It's a bit annoying to have medics on your team who don't heal other people and play the support role they are supposed to. Because most of the time these people aren't communicating to the other team mates and forcing more people on the team to medic and support properly.
 
Uber chaining!

Couple of my friends do this really well, it's not as hard as it seems.. Just need to uber and hit a few people 4 times, then you can easily uber the other person and repeat, as the video shows.

nah that one was for sometimes if you just get the Kritzkrieg while ubered you stay ubered till someone heals you. RIGHT VOIDED?

Yeah they fixed the exploit that kept infinite uber, but what the video is showing is just a very smart tactic of using your ubersaw to work up an incredibly fast uber and repeat.
 
Me and The Milkman were doing this today in ego 2fort server people thought we were exploiting lol Not as good as in that video but we got just over 10 ubers out of it
 
Ironically, this makes the Medic the strongest class in the game (when facing noobs like me :) )
 
Well in 2fort server they weren't doing very good job stopping me and the milkman lol
