I was born in 88, but used to watch Inspector Gadget, Transformers, and Ninja Turtles all the time. Much better than the trash cartoons what we have now. Pretty much right after 1999 cartoons started to lose their awesomeness.

I watch a lot of anime right now, while it's still good, the newer anime don't compete with the older animes from 1979-1999.

Agreed. No Reboot, Thundercats, or Silverhawks in those above montages though :(

glad to see I wasn't the only one who missed the Silverhawks or Thundercats!

and Nemo? you owe me a half hour of my life back!!

Also, no Mask: [ame]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RQdgbs0IUDg[/ame]

Oh, and Nemo, you owe me an hour of my life back because I watched the 90's too. :)

OK, OK. I had it on in a window while I worked this afternoon, but I did get some funny looks from people as they passed by my office. :-P

I have a question..

I forgot this Cartoon, but I still remember the song of it.

It's like this..

"..Captain _____.. He's a hero.."

Sorry, I forgot the rest.. :)

That better damn be a lie Blackout. It's Captain Planet.

But Thundercats, Voltron, Captain Planet, Reboot. 90s cartoons were more my forte, though...

Johnny Bravo, Animaniacs, Freakazoid, Pinky and the Brain, Batman: The Animated Series, Batman Beyond and so much more...

Sigh, what happened to making good cartoons, Pinky and the Brain and all of those from the 90s actually I loved all the ones Thor stated... The only cartoon I have actually liked recently was The Grim Adventures of Billy and Mandy. Oh and you gorgot to mention Futurama Thor...

It's all about Gundam! (I'm afraid I was not alive in the '80s, so I don't know much about '80s cartoons)

Gundam never really made it big in the US, so that's probably why it's not there...

HOWEVER

There are not words to describe the awesomeness of Pinky and the Brain.

I'm glad to see Dungeons and Dragons made it in there, I used to love that show...and Duck Tales!

I skipped through and may have missed it, but I didn't see the Robotech opening!

I'm a total 90's kid, and it's amazing how many of those theme songs I still know by heart after so many years. Wow!

I was born in 85, so I was also on the cusp of the 80's montage as well. I know quite a few of those, but not as many as the 90's one.

Holy crap, who here had completely forgotten about the Super Mario Brothers Super Show?

*sigh*

I watched every show mentioned but, I'm a bit older. I remember racing home from school to watch Scooby-Doo in the late Seventies.

Also, no one has mentioned: Visionaries, Spider-Man (in the 80's with SPIFFY 3d effects!), Hulk Hogan's Rock n' Wrestling or the short-lived Mr. T and Friends cartoon which debuted on christmas eve one year, I know because I watched it.
