Ok, I wanted to start a gripe session here just for fun. I would love to know what little elements of BF1 that people hate. I'll start:

1) Accuracy is terrible which....
2) Encourages sniping more than any other BF to date IMO
3) Being a gunner in a tank is infuriating because you can't help out like 90% of the time.
4) The entire bohemouth idea is dumb, it never really works to effect an outcome.
5) The scoring system has changed where you can hold one flag at the end and still win. Im sorry, what was the point of dominating your team at the end of a game?
6) Limpet charge, takes forever to get, take two or three to take out a tank. I can understand encouraging teamplay, but give me enough to take out a tank.
7) K-bullet - isn't this the same idea as shooting a bear with a .22. It's going to bleed but in the end just piss it off to probably just kill you.
8) Apparently we are running around without shoes or boots, because stepping on a flare singes the skin so much that it can take like a third of your health.
9) Bayonet charge - I know it might have happened in this era, but not in the way it happens on battlefield. Are you telling me that shooting a guy even once isn't going to stop a charge?
10) Did I mention accuracy?

I think games in general have gone down the tubes in the last 5 years or so. BC2, COD MW2 days are long gone. All complaints aside from BF1 it's the best turd in the industry right.

We all heard the Drama with EA and The new Star Wars Battlefront 2. What do you expect from EA and DICE? A game that works and is fun for players?

I am saddened by what BF has become. I left COD after MW2 because it became the same crap over and over. EAs decision to take the Battlefield series this direction is a poor one imo. I discovered BF with 3, and instantly loved it. 4 was awesome as well. 1 is ok but is definitely lacking in a lot of ways almost to the point that it isn't even a Battlefield game. Just look at the difference in our forums. With 3 & 4, there were posts everyday. As well as a constant stream of new members. Now it's once a week we get a post in here and alex2142hp can say how memberships have been, which my guess has been dismal. I miss the nightly battles we had in lockers and the trolling fun we all had when 3 & 4 were out. Shame we can't get the band back together, but I think people are bored with 4 and just don't like 1.

BFBC2 rewards players who become skilled with the physics of their weapons.
Unlike BF1, which almost immediately makes every player a veteran.
It is watered down to let the grandma and house wife play the game for the first time as if they are pros.

Whats that sonny? I can't read these here for-ums too well, and you have to speak louder.

On a serious note, I loved BF3 and BF4 learning bullet drop and spread and what attachments worked, and which attachments on certain guns were garbage (I miss my old 417 from BF3 though).

BC2 was great, but I always have problems going back to older graphics. I have a bit of vanity.

I too am sad how much forum participation has dropped. The only thing that makes sense is the bad BF. They went from Hardline to BF1. I don't like the trend.

I want to add another thing to the list. The "sweet spot" on tanks where it doesn't ricochet.... OMG it's infuriating!

I missed it... What drama?

It sounds like you are a bit disappointed too with BF1?

Hopefully the micro transaction virus doesn't make it into the Battlefield series. To me it's not a really big deal but I like things the way they are with the premium pass model. WW2 or 2143 for the next iteration of Battlefield would suit me just fine.

And this would be why people dont want to even try playing it. Every game has its ups and downs but to put it down on here when we do have active members that actually play it everyday. We try and get people to join and when they see this thread they are going to think eGO hates the game and why would they want to join us. I understand its not a perfect game but having a thread about how bad it is really isnt helping people want to try it.

Everyone has their opinion and this is just mine. As I am a everyday BF1 player.

Well ppl shouldn't take it as that, it's an opinion, they could find a demo or something, try it out, but the opinion here is just saving them money in the long run or/and pointing out pros /cons. Which is perfectly fine. Some like it, some don't. It's just up to the person.

First, let me preface that I am just about an everyday BF1 player as well.

I am by no means putting down our members that play it. They are certainly welcome to enjoy it. eGO is a great place where even non-member can have a voice and bounce ideas.

Guess what, if we have a similar BF especially with the server situation next iteration, membership will continue to decline. It was fun getting in Siege or Locker and seeing your fellow members. That doesn't exist in BF1.

Perhaps DICE gets on here and sees that most people who play BF1, who have played the series a long time, are unhappy with the direction they have gone with it. If they are trying to get a broader audience, I get it. $$$ is a big motivator in how you do things. However, if the vets of BF eventually start to reject the franchise because of the changes they have made, then perhaps they will change it back a bit. We love Battlefield because it's different and not COD. However, I am seeing changes that make it more like COD and that's not welcome.

Listen I know the game is rage inducing at times but Battlefield 1 is fun, I have quit the game more than enough times but I always come back.

The game is not perfect by no means but It could be allot worse.

I don't see how BF is becoming more like COD, COD is the most watered down a shooter can possibly get.

The reason I play BF1 is because it feels better than COD, In COD you do not have Tanks, Planes, Levelution, 60 player servers, and massive maps. The gun play is also way different in COD, you could shoot a pistol from a football field away and still do as much damage as you were doing if you were right in front of them in COD.
