Desk or Apple Watch

So i recently aquired a large amount of money and need to decide between a $320 corner desk desk or a $300 Apple watch. Basically I need the desk and don't need the watch at all but I really want to spoil myself but I don't think it's a very good idea. I wanna hear your opinions and maybe even other suggestions on what I should get, and yes I realize that I should save it for college or a car, but it's the holiday season and I feel like spending $$$

What's your current desk setup? That might answer the question :)
 
In my opinion, if you have a phone, you do not need a watch, especially since they are so much money for a small piece of equipment. I would much rather suggest purchasing the desk, as it's lifetime expectancy and uses are much more practical and useful than an addition of the exact abilities you already have. Hope this helps with your decision.
 
I recommend the desk. The watch is super unnecessary, coming from someone who had one and got rid of it
 
i built my own corner desk for $50 using laminate plywood rubber bumpers and 2x4's works better than the $500 corner desk i bought also has more room on it. also i have the apple watch its going in for service for the 4th time in 1 year bc the batteries are shit

Although I know hearing from us is fun, you already know the answer to your own question. My answer will probably knock the fun out of this question, but here goes...
How to succeed in life is all about making choices...choices that help open doors for better choices.
It is rare that a door just appears out of thin air. Most doors appear because you made certain choices that made them appear. While other people in your life will rack up the accomplishments in your life as, "he always gets the good things in life thrown at him." You will see it differently because to get those "good things thrown at you" you had to make sacrifices and choices they would not have made. You paid the price and felt it each time.
Sometimes the fruit from your sacrifices are not seen for many years, but they are always seen...always.
College is an investment for your future. That once accomplished will help pay for many Apple Watches throughout your life. Not just 1 for the now.
You can build a desk from cheap materials and your own labor. You will learn a lot from doing it yourself. You probably have a phone that does what the Apple Watch does. And college, well...you know the answer to that.
