Also, you can sometimes get super lucky and see a build video where they will use specifically your case and motherboard as that's the most pain in the butt process, in my opinion. I recommend just watch a lot of PC build videos to see if you're able and ready to do it. Don't worry if it ends up taking a few days as it'll be your first time and you won't want to make mistakes so taking your time, making sure you put things together in the correct order takes time and you only get faster with experience. I just built my 4th PC, but it was about 7 years between #3 and #4 so I used youtube a ton to make sure my bearings was right.
The most worrisome part of the process for me was putting the CPU heatsink on with thermal paste as I didn't want too much to spill onto the motherboard, but not enough to create a bad layer. Second moment for a heart attack: remembering how the CPU is put on and the awkward sound that makes you think it broke, even when you put it on correctly. That'll test your nerves. Easiest steps were to install the RAM and video card; it'd be hard to mess up those two considering there's really only one way correct way to install them.
