Private Message Popup?

Alrighty, so this might be the wrong place to post something like this and if so my apologies but I couldn't find a feedback section anywhere regarding the website. Within the last few days my forum account is now alerting me of my private messages through a popup window. I cannot find how to change this/turn this feature off in my control panel and it's become rather annoying everytime you go to a new page open up a new tab for the Edge Gamers website.

Is this a new 'feature' or something along those lines? If it is I really wish I could turn it off.

It's actually an old feature that has made a comeback.

What browser are you using? I've simply got the popup blocked on Firefox.

Yeah I'm using Firefox, how would I go about disabling the popup? I have noscript, adblock etc but I don't know if that makes a difference.

Tools > Options > Content > Block Popup Windows

It's on by default, so you probably turned it off at some point.

Wow. Interesting. I don't have pop-ups blocked here, and I'm not getting that PM pop-up. Wacky.
