Bad Company 2 PC bummer

My eight year old PC has decided to go black screen and not boot up anymore. This either a GPU problem or a reinstall windows 7 problem.
Anyhow, it's going to take a bit of time before i get back in the game.

Come on man, DO NOT UPGRADE your PC. Stick it out and fix it with bubblegum and tooth picks.
You kill me enough already.
Now your gonna have a better PC than all of us! Hope when you fix it you develop a slight random freeze issue when your playing BFBC2. Where the freeze randomly stops your mouse for about .5 second about every few minutes. That would be great for your AT4 shots.

Just joking, hope it isn't too expensive or time consuming to repair. Maybe you will read this in a few after you fix your rig.

Not a big deal. There is project nexus (unofficial bc2 servers) and clan master-servers (even with new maps from single player, with jets...) which can replace official EA servers

You might be on to something with the blinker fluid but it could just be a loose gas cap. Tighten that down and your G2G

Did you jiggle the thingy? Sometimes thats all you need to do.

I jiggled it, I actually jiggled it a lot while I wasn't killing pixels!
I know, It should be jiggled even if you can kill pixels, that happens too.

The problem appears to be fixed. Waking hours will be spent bringing my gizmo back to the operational level that suits my needs. Seems like its a good idea to have everything you can stored on another PC or laptop, this seem to make things back to normal faster. I know, there is this cloud thing but I know that clouds come and go, I can't trust them.

Seems, GPU gone south and corrupted Win files to boot. Now I have a nine year old PC on Win 10 and a GPU a tad better than what I had.

Thank you all for your patience I know you have weapons in hand ready to blow my body parts over a Heavy Metal field.

Almost all is good now, Win 10 installed and new, slightly improved GPU.

One last problem, I can't get the scroll knob on my mouse to pull up my weapons. Sometimes the settings will work but most times not, I haven't found a workaround using other keys that I like yet but I should get it soon.
